The Home Control Marketing Manager will own the market strategy and go-to-market for Home Control, focusing on measurable pipeline growth and design wins. Responsibilities include translating customer needs into differentiated hardware and software solutions, equipping sales teams with necessary tools, and managing competitive positioning. The role involves leading GTM for Smart Home across MCU and MPU portfolios, defining value propositions for IoT Edge solutions, and building market models. This position requires planning product launches, supporting sales on design-in pursuits, and tracking key performance indicators to drive revenue and margin growth.

  • Convert insights into MRDs/PRDs and reference design requirements.
  • Plan and execute product launches and ecosystem campaigns.
  • Support regional Sales/FAEs on design-in pursuits.
  • Craft solution value propositions and narratives.
  • Provide pipeline and forecast inputs; track KPIs.

Role Summary:

  • Own market strategy and GTM for Home Control; deliver measurable pipeline growth and Tier 1/2 design wins in priority regions
  • Translate customer needs into differentiated HW+SW solutions and launches; equip Sales with positioning and tools to accelerate adoption and meet revenue/margin plans
  • Own competitive positioning and win/loss insights; provide accurate forecast inputs and scenario plans to support quarterly commits

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead go-to-market (GTM) for Smart Home across MCU, MPU portfolios; drive design-wins and revenue growth
  • Define positioning, messaging, and value propositions for IoT Edge solutions
  • Build TAM/SAM/SOM models and build your ideal strategy
  • Convert customer and market insights into MRDs/PRDs and reference design requirements (HW + SW + tools), including Edge AI/ML enablement
  • Plan and execute product launches and ecosystem campaigns with ODM/OEMs and distributors; grow ecosystem adoption
  • Support regional Sales/FAEs on design-in pursuits; craft solution value propositions and narratives to accelerate wins
  • Provide pipeline and forecast inputs; track KPIs (design-win, conversion, revenue, margin) and drive corrective actions

Key Qualifications:

  • BS in Computer Science, Electrical, Control or Computer Engineering (advanced degree a plus)
  • 5–8+ years in semiconductor product/segment marketing, product management, or technical sales (embedded/IoT)
  • Customer-facing mindset and experience in design-in pursuits and win/loss reviews
  • Ability to operate at strategic and tactical levels with bias for action in fast-moving markets
  • Hands-on knowledge of MCUs, MPUs; familiarity with RTOS/Linux
  • Proven success building and executing GTM plans that deliver design-wins and revenue growth
  • Experience translating customer needs into MRDs/PRDs and reference designs (HW + SW + tools) with edge AI/ML enablement
  • Strong competitive analysis and pricing acumen; comfort with TAM/SAM/SOM modeling and portfolio strategy
  • Channel/ecosystem experience with OEM/ODM/module partners and distributors
  • Excellent storytelling and communication skills
  • Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time.
