Job Description

Motorola Solutions is a global community dedicated to public safety through critical communications, video security, and command center technologies. As an HR Business Partner in Chile, you will collaborate with employees, managers, and leaders to provide world-class HR support. This role involves advising on leadership, talent management, change, culture, and diversity, while also performing operational HR activities. You will help build talent capability, consult on integration, provide analytics, resolve issues, and drive key HR initiatives to support the company's dynamic and innovative environment.
Must have:
  • Partner with employees, managers, and business leaders to provide world-class support.
  • Advise leaders on talent management, change management, culture, and organizational design.
  • Perform operational HR activities in selection, training, employee relations, compensation, benefits, and systems.
  • Build talent capability through acquisition, development, succession planning, and inclusion & diversity.
  • Consult and strategize with leaders on culture and integration of acquired companies.
  • Provide relevant and timely people analytics to the business.
  • Review and resolve employee and manager issues, driving improvement initiatives.
  • Counsel employees and management on talent acquisition, leadership, and performance.
  • Align HR support with business strategy to implement actions supporting goals.
  • Lead or participate in key HR projects (e.g., merit, bonus, acquisitions) to successful closure.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of company strategy, operations, culture, and competition.
  • Collaborate with Global HR to identify and implement business process improvements.
  • Ensure consistent application and compliance with HR and company policies and systems.
  • Partner closely with Centers of Excellence (COEs) like Talent Management and Rewards.
  • Work collaboratively with leadership and COEs for organizational changes.
  • Build strong relationships within HR to share knowledge of new programs and policies.
  • Complete special projects, conduct research, organize information, and deliver results.
  • Conduct exit interviews and provide off-boarding support to employees.
  • Produce, analyze, and present data-driven solutions to the business and HR.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition for Campus Recruiting and social media branding.

As an HRBP at Motorola Solutions Chile you would partner with employees, managers and business leaders at various levels to ensure we provide world class support across the globe. As a trusted business partner you would advise business leaders regarding leadership, talent management, change management, culture, inclusion & diversity, organizational design and effectiveness, compensation, and employee relations. Performs operational activities in the area of selection, training, employee relations, compensation, benefits and systems.

The HR Partner will perform a variety of activities including but not limited to

• Partner with the other HR Partner's and client's leadership team to build talent capability across the organization through talent acquisition, talent development, succession planning, inclusion & diversity

• Consult and strategize with leaders on culture and integration of acquired companies

• Provide relevant and timely people analytics to the business

• End to end employee and manager issue review and resolution. Partnering with all areas and levels of MSI to provide resolution along with longer term root cause analysis of why issue occurred, make recommendations and drive improvement initiatives

• Provides counsel to employees and management in the areas of talent acquisition, leadership, employee relations, talent management, performance management, rewards, and recognition

• Align support with HR and business strategy to recommend and implement actions that will support initiatives from an employee experience and business goal perspective

• Participate in (and in some instances lead) key projects/initiatives (e.g. merit and bonus process, acquisitions, job code cleanup, market benchmarking, etc.) and successfully drive to closure

• Develop a thorough understanding of our company's strategy, business operations, culture and competition with particular knowledge around key HR functions

• Work with other members of the Global HR team to identify and implement business process improvements

• Ensure the consistent application of (and compliance with) HR and company policies, processes and systems

• Partner closely with other COE's (e.g. Talent Management, Rewards, Talent Acquisition, Benefits, Employee Relations, etc.)

• Work collaboratively with leadership and COE's for organizational changes

• Build strong working relationships within other areas of HR to gain and share knowledge of changes, new programs, policies, etc. with employees and managers

• Completes special projects and objectives, conducts research, develops and organizes information and delivers results

• Conducts exit interviews and provides off-boarding support to employees

• Produce, analyze and present data driven solutions to the business and other areas of HR

• Partner with Talent Acquisition in support of Campus Recruiting and social media branding as it relates to specific areas of the business and /or open positions

Basic Requirements

  • • PHR, SHRM-CP or equivalent professional certification is a plus

• Experience with integrating acquired companies required. Must have experience with M&A activities.

• Strong business acumen and HR experience with a proven track record as a HR partner in fast growing or high scaling environment

• Strong analytical skills for putting together data decks for the business

• Knowledge of HRIS systems; Workday preferred

• Ability to balance multiple priorities, work under pressure within established time constraints, meet deadlines and objectives, and proactively take a customer service approach to activities

• Strong problem resolution skills and the ability to effectively respond to questions and concerns from employees and managers, along with other stakeholders

• Familiar with standard concepts, practices, policies and procedures across Human Resources

• Proven ability to effectively communicate with line level employees through senior leaders

• Well organized and detail oriented with an ability to multitask

• Independent thinker, self-starter, and a team player

• Has sound judgment, decision-making and problem-solving skills

• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally via verbal and written communication

• Customer-focused mindset with high level of professionalism, employee confidentiality and discretion

• Experience thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced and changing environment that is results oriented and collaborative

• Ability to simultaneously manage both strategic initiatives and the execution of day-to-day deliverables

Basic Requirements

Bachelor's degree required, HR degree preferred

7 years of Human Resources experience

Experience integrating acquired companies is preferred
