Key Responsibilities

• Manage and execute background verification processes for new hires and ex-employees, including education, employment history, address, criminal record, and reference checks.
• Liaise with third-party verification agencies and internal departments to collect and validate required documents.
• Ensure timely initiation, tracking, and closure of all verification cases within defined TATs (Turn-Around Times).
• Review verification reports, highlight discrepancies, and coordinate with relevant stakeholders for resolution.
• Maintain accurate and secure records of verification data in accordance with data privacy laws.
• Provide regular status updates and reports to HRBPs.
• Support audit requirements by ensuring process documentation and compliance.
• Handle escalation cases, such as adverse findings, with professionalism and confidentiality.
• Maintain and publish regular BGC dashboards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 3–5 years of experience in employee background verification, HR operations.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for liaising with internal teams and external vendors.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and HR databases.
• Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously and meet strict deadlines.
