Job Summary

As a Human Resources Business Partner, you will join Vendavo's People Team to collaborate with leaders and drive company-wide HR programs. You will guide leaders and employees through initiatives in talent management, organizational change, engagement, and performance management, contributing to a people-focused company as it scales.

Must Have

  • Provides full cycle, strategic HR support for leaders and employees.
  • Partners with leadership to develop and execute people strategies.
  • Champions organizational change, development, and effectiveness.
  • Provides consultation on day-to-day employee issues and performance management.
  • Analyzes HR metrics and data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams on P&C Team initiatives.
  • Drives initiatives regarding culture, organizational change, engagement, and effectiveness.
  • Partners with Talent Acquisition for new employee onboarding.
  • Stays informed of industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes.
  • 5+ years of relevant HR experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of Human Resource principles, practices, laws, and regulations.
  • Ability to strategically utilize HR data and metrics.
  • Ability to partner with leaders to navigate business through significant change.
  • Expertise in employee relations, engagement, retention, policy interpretation, and HR programs.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships.
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.

  • Experience as HR practitioner in a multi-national organization with proven experience of working across different countries & cultures.

Job Description

We’re a growing team, and as we scale, so does our need to focus on expanding our People Team. You’ll be joining a people-focused company, and as a Human Resources Business Partner, you will collaborate with our People Team and Vendavo’s leaders to drive and deliver company-wide programs and initiatives. Responsible for guiding the leaders and employees through HR related initiatives in the areas of talent management, organizational change, engagement, and performance management.

THE OPPORTUNITY

  • Provides full cycle, strategic HR support for leaders and employees in assigned business areas.
  • Partners with leadership to develop and execute people strategies aligned with business goals and objectives.
  • Champions organizational change, development, and effectiveness, including succession planning, talent development, and engagement.
  • Provides consultation on day-to-day employee issues and performance management guidance (i.e. coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary action).
  • Analyzes HR metrics and data to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement, using findings to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and coordination of P&C Team initiatives across the organization.
  • Drives initiatives regarding culture, organizational change, engagement, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Partners with Talent Acquisition and hiring managers to create an exceptional onboarding experience for new employees. This includes facilitating the planning for new employee onboarding.
  • Stays informed of industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes, proactively incorporating insights into the HR strategies and practices to maintain alignment with business goals.
  • Other duties as assigned.

THE SKILL SET

  • 5+ years of relevant HR experience, including demonstrated strategic partnership with senior levels throughout an organization.
  • Advanced knowledge of Human Resource principles and practices, and laws and regulations related to employment.
  • Ability to strategically utilize HR data and metrics to inform decision-making, measure HR effectiveness, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Ability to partner with leaders of large groups to help navigate the business through significant change utilizing effective project management and change management techniques and processes.
  • A broad technical expertise in employee relations, engagement and retention, policy interpretation and application, planning and other HR processes and programs.
  • Possesses excellent communication skills (written and verbal), conveying information with confidence and clarity.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships and partnerships with all levels in the business.
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills; ability to be flexible and available to interact with teammates at all levels; ability to be self-directed and motivated.
  • Experience as HR practitioner in a multi-national organization with proven experience of working across different countries & cultures, strongly preferred.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule when needed, as the role cooperates with colleagues from different global locations.
