Job Summary
JetBrains is seeking an experienced and proactive HR Manager to lead HR operations in its Armenia office. This role involves implementing and maintaining HR processes, policies, and employee benefits in compliance with JetBrains’ global strategy and Armenian labor law. The manager will oversee the full employee lifecycle, act as the main HR contact, handle HR administration, and advise employees on various HR topics. The position also includes collaborating with global teams and organizing employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive work environment.
Must Have
- Implement and maintain HR processes, policies, and employee benefits in Armenia
- Ensure alignment with JetBrains’ global HR strategy and compliance with local labor law
- Manage the full employee lifecycle in Armenia, including hiring, onboarding, development, performance evaluation, and offboarding
- Act as the main HR contact for employees in Armenia
- Handle HR administration, including employment contracts, employee handbook, and leave requests
- Maintain employee records in HiBob and ensure data accuracy and a reliable reporting system
- Advise employees on HR topics, including Armenian labor law, employment terms, compensation, benefits, and workplace policies
- Collaborate with global HR, Payroll, Finance, and Legal teams to maintain consistent and compliant processes
- Ensure compliance with Armenian labor legislation and regulations, including reporting to local authorities as needed
- Work with the Events team to organize teambuilding activities, celebrations, and local employee engagement initiatives
- Participate in HR activities and initiatives as needed
- 3–5 years of experience as an HR Manager or HR Generalist in an international environment in Armenia
- Strong knowledge of Armenian labor law, payroll, and local employment practices
- Hands-on experience working with local authorities and external agencies
- Practical knowledge of the Armenian immigration system, including work and residence permits
- Experience working with HR software for managing employee records and HR processes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- A collaborative, proactive, and flexible approach to handling HR challenges
- Experience supporting a positive work culture and employee engagement initiatives
- Fluency in Armenian and English, both written and spoken

About the Role
We are looking for a proactive, experienced HR Manager to lead HR operations in our Armenia office. You’ll be the main local HR contact and ensure that HR practices align with JetBrains’ global strategy and comply with Armenian labor law.
This role combines hands-on HR operations, employee support, and work on initiatives that help build a positive, inclusive, and engaging work environment for our local team.
What You’ll Do
- Implement and maintain HR processes, policies, and employee benefits in Armenia.
- Ensure alignment with JetBrains’ global HR strategy and compliance with local labor law.
- Manage the full employee lifecycle in Armenia, including hiring, onboarding, development, performance evaluation, and offboarding, in accordance with company policies.
- Act as the main HR contact for employees in Armenia, representing JetBrains’ HR functions locally and globally.
- Handle HR administration, including employment contracts, employee handbook, and leave requests.
- Maintain employee records in HiBob and ensure data accuracy and a reliable reporting system.
- Advise employees on HR topics, including Armenian labor law, employment terms, compensation, benefits, and workplace policies.

What We’re Looking For
- 3–5 years of experience as an HR Manager or HR Generalist in an international environment in Armenia.
- Strong knowledge of Armenian labor law, payroll, and local employment practices.
- Hands-on experience working with local authorities and external agencies.
- Practical knowledge of the Armenian immigration system, including work and residence permits.
- Experience working with HR software for managing employee records and HR processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve HR issues for employees and management.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust and be a go-to contact for employees.
- A collaborative, proactive, and flexible approach to handling HR challenges.
- Experience supporting a positive work culture and employee engagement initiatives.
- Fluency in Armenian and English, both written and spoken.
- Experience in an IT or technology company is a plus.
