ICFA Engineer

The ICFA Engineer will perform analysis on semiconductor devices to determine failure mechanisms and root causes for customer returns, internal qualifications, and product development. This involves non-destructive and destructive analysis, including working with chemicals. The role requires a deep understanding of semiconductor physics, MOS, and transistor-level analog and logic circuits, along with a persistent attention to detail and strong investigative skills.

Must Have

• Perform analysis on semiconductor devices to determine failure mechanism and root cause
• Failure analysis activities include non destructive and destructive analysis
• Working with chemicals
• Minimum 5 years working experience in failure analysis of semiconductor devices
• In depth understanding of semiconductor physics, MOS and a detailed transistor level understanding of a variety of analog and logic circuits
• A persistent attention to details and a high level of comfort in investigative nature of activities
• Excellence written and verbal English communication skills
• Bachelor Degree in Electronics Engineering, physics or related course

Good to Have

• Strong fault isolation experience (light emission microscopy, laser injection techniques, EOTPR / TDR)
• Strong IC deprocessing skills (wet and dry)
• Knowledge in CMOS IC fabrication and test
• Hands-on experience with lab equipments (oscilloscopes, semiconductor parameter analyzers, functional testers, ebeam tools like SEM and FIB)

Education
