This role involves managing the acquisition of materials and equipment, researching and selecting national and international suppliers, and ensuring compliance with established procedures to secure goods under optimal conditions of price, quality, and timeliness. You will contribute to optimizing the acquisition of goods and services, promoting strong supplier relationships, and upholding corporate policies.
Must have:
  • Manage actions determined in the strategy by administering purchasing plans for assigned categories.
  • Act as a point of contact with users and operational/administrative areas.
  • Execute the Purchasing strategy according to category and user needs, adhering to policies.
  • Study assigned categories to implement best practices for market standards.
  • Operate negotiation strategies, documenting the process.
  • Implement sourcing strategies, ensuring process adherence and risk mitigation.
  • Monitor and report savings from assigned categories.
  • Collaborate with legal and users for contracts covering group risks.
  • Comply with supplier risk assessment using company tools.

The Purchasing department is responsible for leading the Sourcing Strategy at the business level, ensuring efficient, transparent processes aligned with the organization's strategic objectives. Its focus is on optimizing the acquisition of goods and services in all areas of the company, generating value, promoting solid relationships with suppliers, and ensuring compliance with corporate policies throughout the supply chain.

We are looking for an Indirect Purchasing Analyst for the Procurement area.

About you:

You will manage the procedures for the acquisition of materials and equipment required by the group, researching and selecting suppliers in the market (national and international), complying with established procedures, to supply the required goods under the best conditions of price, quality, and opportunity.

Your day to day:

  • Manage the actions determined in the strategy by administering purchasing plans for the categories under your charge.
  • Act as a point of contact with users, operational or administrative areas (business units, regional or central areas).
  • Execute the Purchasing strategy according to the needs of the assigned categories and users. Adherence to Purchasing policies and processes and guiding users to follow the processes.
  • Study the categories assigned to the purchasing area, establishing the execution of best practices in specific indirect or direct categories, to achieve current market standards.
  • Operate negotiation strategies to consolidate the closing, documenting the process.
  • Carry out sourcing strategies, studying the information to maintain adherence to the process. Verify risk mitigation, executing assigned purchases according to policies and procedures (control points).
  • Monitor and report savings generated from the assigned categories and subcategories.
  • Compile and follow up with legal and users to obtain contracts that include clauses that cover or mitigate risks to the group of assigned operations. Comply with supplier risk assessment using the tools assigned by the company.

You must have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Administration, Economics, International Trade, Engineering, Architecture, and related fields.
  • Advanced English.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Indirect Expense Purchasing and supplier selection.
  • Experience and mastery of the 7-step Strategy or Sourcing Strategy.
  • Mastery of skills such as teamwork, conflict management, stress management, emotional intelligence, strategic and analytical thinking, high standards of ethics, integrity, and honesty. Focus on timely delivery, customer service and results orientation, as well as efficient process monitoring.
  • Ability to effectively use Microsoft Office tools, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Project.
