As Industrial and Supply Chain Director, you will lead strategic initiatives to optimize manufacturing operations, supply chain efficiency, and industrial performance across multiple sites. You will drive CAPEX and OPEX planning, manage workload and capacity, and ensure alignment with budget targets. The role involves deploying Lean and digital transformation programs, supporting projects, and interfacing with Product Line and customers on logistics and supply chain requirements, ultimately driving industrial excellence.

  • Proficiency in French and/or Czech.

  • Coordinate and execute CAPEX plans and industrialization projects.
  • Develop dashboards and forecast models to support business planning.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and special process management.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in manufacturing.
  • Proven leadership in Operations & Supply Chain.
  • Strong knowledge of embedded systems, industrial planning, and supply chain flows.
  • Experience in leading large-scale industrial projects.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Strong interpersonal and analytical skills.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Legal authorization to work in EU is required.

Who will you be working with?

You will be part of the Transit Operations team, a dynamic group focused on driving industrial excellence across multiple manufacturing sites. This team collaborates closely with Product Line, Site Directors, Supply Chain Leaders, and Engineering to deliver best-in-class performance in the rail industry. You’ll work in a matrix environment, supporting cross-functional initiatives and leading strategic programs in Lean, Digitization, and Sustainability.

How will you make a difference?

As a member of the Industrial & Supply Chain Performance group, you will lead strategic initiatives to optimize manufacturing operations, supply chain efficiency, and industrial performance across multiple sites. You will drive CAPEX and OPEX planning, manage workload and capacity, and ensure alignment with budget and STRAP targets. Your role will also include deploying Lean and digital transformation programs, support greenfield and brownfield projects, and acting as a key interface with Product Line and customers on logistics and supply chain requirements.

What will your typical day look like?

  • Drive and monitor industrial KPIs including productivity, CAPEX, and operational ratios
  • Lead SIOP strategy and regional council meetings
  • Manage workload-capacity across sites and support workforce planning
  • Coordinate and execute CAPEX plans and industrialization projects
  • Interface with Product Line on bids, costing, and schedule
  • Deploy Lean, Digitization, and Sustainability programs across sites
  • Develop dashboards and forecast models to support business planning
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and special process management
  • Support customer logistics and supply chain requirements
  • Facilitate best practice sharing and continuous improvement initiatives

What do we want to know about you?

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Operations, or a related discipline
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in manufacturing, preferably in automotive or project-oriented environments
  • Proven leadership in Operations & Supply Chain, with additional experience in Quality, Engineering, or Project Management
  • Strong knowledge of embedded systems, industrial planning, and supply chain flows
  • Experience in leading large-scale industrial projects (e.g., layout execution, warehousing, ToT/ToP)
  • CPIM and Lean Manufacturing certification is a plus
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in French and/or Czech is an asset
  • Strong interpersonal and analytical skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive strategic decisions
  • Willingness to travel and work in a complex, matrixed organization
