What You Will Do
- Conduct Industrial Engineering analysis projects, particularly in long-term development projects, operational planning support, workload planning and forecasting, capacity utilization
- Ensure the appropriate methodology, measurements, tools and quantitative techniques (e.g. data collection, computer simulation, statistics, process flow analysis, etc.) are applied in projects
- Lead and participate in team efforts and work on projects which require interfacing with all levels of cast and management
- Be a professional consultant to Operations teams and design teams, maintaining high level of confidentiality during and after the internship term
Required Qualifications & Skills
These are the minimum qualifications you need to be considered for this position:
- Proven strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proven strong interpersonal skills
- Proven strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision making skills
- Willingness to learn new software applications
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior related work experience with a focus on problem-solving
- Fluency in Mandarin
Education
- Currently enrolled at an accredited 4-year College or University studying Industrial Engineering or related major
Preferred Education
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher (please note: no rounding) as shown on a transcript
Eligibility Requirements & Program Information
Internship Eligibility:
- Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application posting OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Possess unrestricted work authorization
- Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or Disney College Program
Additional Information
- Able to have consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship
- Fully available to work full-time (40 hours per week) from May - December 2026
- Fully available Monday - Friday and occasional evenings and/or weekends depending on project needs
- Able to provide own housing for the duration of the internship program in the Glendale, CA area
- Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work
Location of position: Glendale, CA
- Position will be located in Glendale, CA (Walt Disney Imagineering Campus).
- It is the intern’s responsibility to make housing and transportation arrangements for the duration of the internship.
Program Length: The approximate dates of this internship are May - December 2026. Interns must be fully available for the duration of the internship.
