Job Description

The Inside Sales Representative (ISR) partners with the Account Executive (AE) to retain recurring revenue and create new opportunities with existing or new accounts. This role manages the end-to-end sales process, primarily for transactional opportunities, while supporting contractual engagements, building strong relationships with key influencers, and ensuring seamless collaboration across teams. Responsibilities include achieving sales quotas, managing account relationships, driving business growth, and identifying expansion opportunities, leveraging digital and AI tools for enhanced performance.

  • Proficiency in digital and remote selling, including cross-selling and up-selling.
  • Self-motivated and proactive in prospecting and business development.
  • Curiosity and confidence in adopting emerging tools and AI for sales performance.
  • Fluent in English and French.

Description - The Inside Sales Representative (ISR) partners with the Account Executive (AE) to retain recurring revenue and create new opportunities with existing or new accounts. In this role, you will manage the end-to-end sales process—primarily for transactional opportunities—while supporting contractual engagements, building strong relationships with key influencers, and ensuring seamless collaboration across teams. Responsible for managing account relationships to drive sales and ensure pipeline management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve sales quotas and maintain pipeline health.
  • Manage account relationships and drive business growth.
  • Collaborate with the AE to nurture new business and manage account strategy.
  • Engage with various stakeholders, including customer teams, internal coordinators, and sales specialists using HP’s remote sales capabilities.
  • Ensure successful solution implementation and support product adoption.
  • Identify expand opportunities and collaborate with AE/partners in account planning.
  • Independently drive lower value and transactional deals from qualification to close, with a focus on portfolio expansion.
  • Assist or lead activities related to product selection, demonstrations, RFP responses, CPQ management, and catalogue updates.
  • Manage and support the sales cycle, including project management, pricing, solutioning, sales closure, and technical demos.

Education & Experience Recommended:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in sales and account management.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving sales quotas and managing pipelines.
  • Strong organizational and program management skills.
  • Experience in direct selling and stakeholder interaction.
  • Experience supporting account teams, managing pipelines, and driving transactional deals

Knowledge & Skills

  • Proficiency in managing end-to-end sales processes.
  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
  • Expertise in contractual/services selling and driving recurring revenue.
  • Ability to identify opportunities and align with strategic plans.
  • Proficiency in digital and remote selling.
  • Experience with cross-selling and up-selling techniques to drive profitability and enhance customer experience
  • Self-motivation and proactive approach to prospecting and business development
  • New Technology and AI: demonstrated curiosity and confidence in adopting emerging tools and technologies—especially AI—to enhance sales performance, customer engagement, and productivity. The ability to quickly learn, adapt, and apply digital solutions in daily workflows, and to use AI insights to drive smarter decisions and more personalized customer interactions.

Language Requirement: Must Speak English and French

Compensation and Benefits

The on-target earnings (OTE) range for this role is $55,000 to $70,000 CAD annually paid as a 60%/40% (salary/incentive) mix. Pay within this range will be based on the review of experience, skills, and internal equity.

As a full time, employee of HP Canada, you will be eligible to participate in the company's group benefit programs, including medical, dental, life insurance, and disability coverage, subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plans. During your employment term, you will receive 15 paid vacation days per year prorated based on your start date. Detailed information regarding benefits—will be provided upon hire and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plans.

Work location being Mississauga, ON and working hours could vary to ensure excellent customer and partner support for all time zones in Canada.
