We are seeking a service-oriented Institutional Account Manager to join our Institutional Service team in Amsterdam. The ideal candidate will have an interest in financial products and a passion for building strong relationships with Tier 1 institutional clients. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to a portfolio of asset managers and financial clients, acting as the primary point of contact for day-to-day operational queries and complex issues. Responsibilities include addressing and resolving partner queries, investigating complex requests, identifying client needs, advocating for clients within the organization, and managing small projects to improve services. Fluency in Dutch and English is required, with French being an advantage.

Must Have:
  • At least one year of experience in account management, middle office, or client-facing operational roles in finance.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Dutch and English.

Are you our new service-oriented Institutional Account Manager? Do you have an interest in financial products and building strong relationships with Tier 1 institutional clients? We invite you to join our Institutional Service team in Amsterdam.

We are seeking an energetic colleague fluent in Dutch, and English (French is an advantage), who can support our largest partners in the Mid Europe Region.

We take pride in achieving high satisfaction and aim to enhance overall partner relationships. The Institutional Service desk acts as the primary point of contact for all day-to-day operational queries and complex issues for our institutional partners. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to a portfolio of asset managers and financial clients.

 

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Acting as the primary point of contact for day-to-day operational queries and escalations for your portfolio of institutional partners.
  • Actively contributing to the development of our partners through educational initiatives.
  • Addressing and resolving partners’ queries and escalations efficiently.
  • Investigating complex partner requests in collaboration with specialists and relevant stakeholders.
  • Identifying customer needs and advocating for the partner's voice within our organization.
  • Managing small projects aimed at improving or developing services based on partners’ needs.

 

Key competencies:

  • At least one year of experience in account management, middle office, or client-facing operational roles within the financial industry.
  • A relevant bachelor's or master's degree is preferred; equivalent professional experience will also be considered.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Dutch and English. French is an advantage.
  • Ability to excel in a dynamic environment with a strong focus on task prioritization.
  • Highly organized with a meticulous attention to detail.
  • Enthusiastic and proactive approach.
  • Strong sense of ownership and initiative
