Do you want to work with the development of the different solutions for the AML area within Saxo’s Financial Crime Prevention Department? Saxo is an investments bank, with high speed, global colleagues and we are looking for a Software Engineer to work within the FCP Modelling & Development team.

About the job

FCP Modelling & Development is part of 1st Line of defense in Group Operations and located in Saxo’s headquarters in Hellerup. We are a team with colleagues coming from different areas within Saxo’s FCP organization, and we are looking for an additional colleague to join our program. The goal of our team is to ensure that the models and other data-based automated processes we employ in FCP are sound, fit-for-purpose, adequately documented, and regularly reviewed.

Responsibilites

  • Design and develop reusable components for data modeling within the Anti-Money Laundering (AML) domain, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and alignment with best practices
  • Build and maintain robust integration interfaces to connect internal systems with external platforms, enabling secure and efficient data exchange
  • Contribute to solution architecture decisions, providing input on design patterns, system scalability, and compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Participate actively in code reviews, promoting clean, efficient, and well-documented code while mentoring peers on best practices
  • Improve and refactor user interfaces, enhancing usability, performance, and accessibility to deliver a seamless user experience
  • Champion high-quality coding standards, advocating for test-driven development, secure coding practices, and continuous improvement across the team
  • Optimize and evolve CI/CD pipelines, ensuring fast, reliable deployments and automated testing for consistent delivery of high-quality solutions
  • Support AML-related development initiatives, collaborating with domain experts to implement features that strengthen financial crime prevention capabilities
  • Ensure architectural integrity and compliance, validating that solutions meet security, performance, and governance standards
  • Develop adaptable solutions that cater to diverse AML processes, enabling flexibility and scalability as regulatory and business needs evolve

Your profile

You have a strong background in software development and infrastructure engineering, ideally within financial services. Your expertise includes Python and modern frameworks for building scalable, secure systems.

You are experienced in designing and implementing robust architectures and leveraging cloud platforms such as Azure to deliver reliable solutions. Familiarity with AML processes or other regulated environments is a plus.

You thrive in agile settings, collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate software solutions and adapt to evolving requirements. You bring a structured, detail-oriented approach to managing complex tasks in fast-paced environments.

Finally, you are committed to continuous learning and innovation, applying cutting-edge technologies to enhance system capabilities and support financial crime prevention.
