Application Engineer

Cadence is seeking an Application Engineer to provide technical support for advanced software tools used in the design and verification of semiconductor and electrical/electronic systems. This role involves becoming an expert in semiconductors and Cadence's EDA tools, contributing to the cutting-edge electronics industry in Japan and globally. The position offers direct customer interaction and supports work-life balance with maternity and childcare leave policies.

Must Have

• Provide technical support for Cadence's advanced software tools for semiconductor and electrical/electronic system design and verification
• Basic computer operations (word processing, spreadsheets, e-mail)
• Programming skills
• Basic English skills

Good to Have

• Experience in semiconductor design
• Experience with EDA tools or CAD course completion
• Ability to think logically and collaborate with other departments

We are looking for an engineer to provide technical support for Cadence's advanced software tools for designing and verifying semiconductor and electrical/electronic systems. By becoming an expert in semiconductors, which are essential for electronic products, automobiles, industrial equipment, etc., and Cadence's EDA (Electronic Design Automation) tools used in system design, you will be able to work in a position that is at the core of the cutting-edge electronics industry both in Japan and overseas.
