Job Summary
We are looking for a Program Manager who will be one of our important contributors of R&D Development Projects and Customer Engagements for SSG Nanjing site. As the Program Manager for the Advanced Process Core IP Development Team, you will be responsible for the entire project management lifecycle of IP development, ensuring projects are delivered on schedule, on budget, and with high quality. You will be the driving force behind the program's success, coordinating cross-functional teams and managing stakeholder expectations.
Must Have
- Lead project team in developing detailed and executable project management plans
- Identify critical paths and track key milestones for project execution alignment
- Establish and execute robust change management processes
- Conduct regular project status meetings and provide timely reports
- Develop and implement proactive and effective risk management plans
- Lead risk assessment, mitigation, contingency planning, and problem resolution
- Collaborate with team leaders for rational project resource management
- Implement transparent and effective communication across all teams
- Organize regular project meetings for stakeholder and cross-functional alignment
- Work closely with project team to manage customer relationships effectively
- Address customer pain points and feedback promptly
- Collaborate with Quality team for effective quality control
- Partner with Documentation team for timely and quality customer documentation
- Work with Delivery team for on-time and high-quality customer delivery
- Drive continuous optimization of project management processes
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Integrated Circuit, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Communications, or related field
- 5+ years of R&D work experience in the semiconductor industry
Good to Have
- Prior project management experience
- PMP (or equivalent) certification
- Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Confluence, Jira)
- Knowledge of end-to-end design flow and tools for both analog and digital design from Architecture to GDS
- Hands-on experience in digital design
- Hands-on experience in mixed-signal design
- Hands-on experience in end-to-end flow

As the Program Manager for the Advanced Process Core IP Development Team, you will be responsible for the entire project management lifecycle of IP development, ensuring projects are delivered on schedule, on budget, and with high quality. You will be the driving force behind the program's success, coordinating cross-functional teams and managing stakeholder expectations.
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
- Project Planning, Change and Report Management
Lead the project team in developing a detailed and executable project management plan. Identify critical paths and track key milestones to ensure project execution alignment. Establish and execute a robust change management process to assess the impact of scope, schedule, or resource changes, and communicate resulting adjustments effectively to all stakeholders. Conduct regular project status meetings and provide timely, clear reports on project status, issues, risks, and mitigation plans to all stakeholders.
- Risk Identification and Management
Develop and implement a proactive and effective risk management plan. Lead the risk assessment process, focusing on risk mitigation, contingency planning, and ultimately, resolution of complex problems.
- Cross-Functional Team Communication and Resource Management
Collaborate with team leaders to establish a rational project resource management plan. Implement a transparent and effective communication mechanism across all teams. Organize regular project meetings to ensure all stakeholders and cross-functional teams are aligned on project goals and deliverables.
- Customer Management
Work closely with the project team to effectively manage customer relationship. Address customer pain points and feedback promptly to improve customer satisfaction.
- Quality, Documentation, and Delivery Management
Collaborate with the Quality team to ensure effective quality control throughout the project planning, execution, and delivery phases.
Partner with the Documentation team to guarantee the timeliness and quality standards of customer documentation.
Work with the Delivery team to ensure on-time and high-quality customer delivery.
- Continuous Process Improvement
Drive continuous optimization of project management processes through lessons learned, AI/ML applications, and other innovative methodologies.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Integrated Circuit, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Communications, or a related field.
- 5+ years of R&D work experience in the semiconductor industry.
- Prior project management experience, PMP (or equivalent) certification, and familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Confluence, Jira) are preferred.
- Knowledge of end-to-end design flow and tools for both analog and digital design from Architecture to GDS, hands-on experience in digital design and mixed-signal design and end-to-end flow is preferred.
- Strong leadership, cross-functional communication, and problem-solving skills. A willingness to embrace challenges and a commitment to continuous learning in a fast-paced environment.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in both Chinese and English.
