Job Summary

Cadence is seeking an experienced software R&D engineer for Spectre FX Simulator, a next-generation FastSPICE circuit simulator. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining software for transistor-level electrical circuit simulation, utilizing advanced math, computer science, graph theory, and machine learning to develop solutions for memory and large-scale system-on-chip (SoC) designs. The position requires strong C++ development skills and a passion for exploring new technologies.

Must Have

  • MS/PhD in electrical engineering, computer science, applied mathematics, or a similar field
  • 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Strong C++ development skills
  • Experience with large scale programming projects
  • Passionate to learn and explore new technologies
  • Demonstrates good analysis and problem-solving skills

Good to Have

  • SPICE circuit simulation algorithm experience
  • Numerical analysis, especially numerical linear algebra, sparse matrix techniques
  • Experience of EDA tool development

Requirements:

  • MS/PhD in electrical engineering, computer science, applied mathematics, or a similar field with 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Strong C++ development skills and experiences with large scale programming projects.
  • Passionate to learn and explore new technologies and demonstrates good analysis and problem-solving skills
  • Preferred:
  • SPICE circuit simulation algorithm
  • Numerical analysis, especially numerical linear algebra, sparse matrix techniques
  • Experience of EDA tool development
