Job Summary
Saxo Bank is expanding its Quality Assurance Team in Amsterdam, focusing on enhancing and monitoring AML quality for private and corporate Dutch clients. The Quality Assurance Analyst will develop quality standards, conduct tests, identify issues in onboarding and ongoing due diligence processes, and report findings. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders to create policies and processes to ensure a zero-defect quality culture, managing first-line QA controls, and providing expert advice to various departments.
Must Have
- Perform quality assurance on private and corporate clients
- Produce monthly reports containing quality assurance results and associated metrics
- Build and establish QA knowledge within the team
- Provide insight into quality gaps and communicate to appropriate management and business owners
- Analyze information to develop recommendations for improvement and changes in current policies and procedures
- Proven track record within quality assurance
- Strong AML and KYC background and exposure
- Working knowledge of QA tools, methods, and concepts of quality assurance
- Knowledge of relevant regulatory standards
- Excellent data collection and analysis skills
- Stakeholder management competences
- Strong attention to detail
- Proficient in Dutch and in English both oral and written
Good to Have
- Certifications such as CAMS/ACAMS, ICA or similar
- Experience with at least two client segments: private, corporate and/or institutional

About the job
We are expanding our Quality Assurance Team in Amsterdam, which is currently transforming. Previously, the team partially focused on KYC for corporate and private ongoing due diligence of Dutch clients. Moving forward, the team will concentrate on quality assurance for private, corporate Dutch clients to enhance and monitor AML quality at Saxo Bank Netherlands.
As a Quality Assurance Analyst, your role will involve developing quality standards, conducting tests, identifying issues in onboarding and ODD processes, and reporting. You will collaborate with stakeholders to create policies and processes that ensure a zero-defect quality culture.
As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will manage first-line QA controls in content and process, working with fellow QA Specialists. You will provide expert advice to colleagues in other departments such as compliance, financial framework, senior management, and the business. Your findings will be used to develop improvement plans with management, acting as a professional partner in the organization. Key skills include identifying significant risks through understanding laws, (local) regulations, and business insights.
You will collaborate with AML experts on risk assessments, demonstrating decisiveness and ownership. Conduct quality assurance on CDD activities in accordance with Wwft, policies, and standards, presenting and report findings clearly and accurately, with a focus on risk management. Adaptability, decisiveness, and clear communication are essential.
In this position, you will have a large stakeholder map at our headquarter and our local offices in the Netherlands, Belgium and France.
Responsibilities
- Be a part of the pioneer group building the new quality assurance framework for Saxo Bank
- Perform quality assurance on private and corporate clients
- Produces monthly reports containing quality assurance results and associated metrics using established procedures.
- Build and establish the QA knowledge within the team on quality assurance processes and tasks
- Provides insight into quality gaps identified as part of the quality assurance process and ensures these gaps are communicated to appropriate management and business owners.
- Analyzes information gathered to develop recommendations for improvement and changes in current policies and procedures for continued compliance with Saxo Bank’s Anti Money Laundering Policy and applicable regulations.
Requirements And Skills
- Proven track record within quality assurance
- Strong AML and KYC background and exposure
- Working knowledge of QA tools, methods, and concepts of quality assurance
- Knowledge of relevant regulatory standards
- Excellent data collection and analysis skills
- Stakeholder management competences
- Strong attention to detail
- Preferably have certifications such as CAMS/ACAMS, ICA or similar.
- Have experience with a least two client segments: private, corporate and/or institutional.
- Proficient in Dutch and in English both oral and written.
