Job Summary

Saxo Bank is seeking a Temporary Non-Financial Risk Support & Advisory professional for its Group Non-Financial Risk Management function from February 2026 to June 2026. This Second Line of Defence role involves supporting and advising the business on managing non-financial risks across the Group. The professional will contribute to risk framework development, assist with assessments and reporting, support governance processes, and collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure compliance with risk frameworks and regulatory expectations.

Must Have

  • Support and advise the first line of defence on non-financial risk management topics
  • Contribute to the development, maintenance, and implementation of non-financial risk frameworks, policies, and standards
  • Assist with risk assessments, risk reporting, and monitoring of key non-financial risk indicators
  • Support governance processes, including risk committees, issue management, and follow-up on remediation actions
  • Provide input on regulatory and internal requirements related to non-financial risks
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across business units, compliance, and other risk functions
  • Experience or strong interest in non-financial risk management, operational risk, or enterprise risk within a financial institution
  • Understanding of the Three Lines of Defence model
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate clearly with stakeholders at different levels
  • A proactive and structured approach to tasks and deadlines
  • Fluency in English, written and spoken

Job Description

Saxo is looking for a Temporary Non-Financial Risk Support & Advisory professional to join our Group Non-Financial Risk Management function for the period of 1 February - 30 June 2026.

This temporary position is located within the Second Line of Defence (2LoD) and plays a key role in supporting and advising the business on the management of non-financial risks across the Group.

You will work closely with stakeholders across the global organisation, contributing to a strong risk culture and ensuring that non-financial risks are identified, assessed, monitored, and managed in line with Saxo’s risk framework and regulatory expectations.

Responsibilities

As part of the 2LoD Non-Financial Risk Support & Advisory team, your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting and advising the first line of defence on non-financial risk management topics
  • Contributing to the development, maintenance, and implementation of non-financial risk frameworks, policies, and standards
  • Assisting with risk assessments, risk reporting, and monitoring of key non-financial risk indicators
  • Supporting governance processes, including risk committees, issue management, and follow-up on remediation actions
  • Providing input on regulatory and internal requirements related to non-financial risks
  • Collaborating with stakeholders across business units, compliance, and other risk functions

Your profile

We are looking for someone who brings structure, analytical thinking, and a collaborative mindset. Ideally, you have:

  • Experience or strong interest in non-financial risk management, operational risk, or enterprise risk within a financial institution
  • Understanding of the Three Lines of Defence model, preferably with exposure to a 2LoD role
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate clearly with stakeholders at different levels
  • A proactive and structured approach to tasks and deadlines
  • Fluency in English, written and spoken

Experience from banking, financial services, or a regulated environment is an advantage.
