The FCP Regulatory and Governance team manages regulatory interactions and ensures FCP commitments to supervisory authorities are met. It also provides timely, high-quality regulatory and management reporting for internal and external stakeholders, maintains governance across FCP, and supports non-financial risk management.
About the role
We are seeking a Governance and Management Information Specialist to support the implementation of a new governance framework, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and safeguarding the roles and responsibilities of the Bank's Anti-Money Laundering Responsible Person. Additionally, this position will oversee MI tasks, including the preparation of quarterly reports to the Board of Directors on matters related to Financial Crime Prevention.
Furthermore, this role involves handling a broad range of tasks that demand comprehensive knowledge of financial crime risks. You will collaborate extensively with subject-matter experts, internal control functions, and colleagues in client-facing departments. Effective communication across various organisational levels and seniorities is essential, as is the ability to interpret regulatory requirements and translate them into actionable measures for the organisation. Given Saxo’s global presence, a strong international mindset is essential.
Responsibilities
- Developing and implementing a new governance framework for the FCP, which involves setting up committees and establishing reporting lines throughout the organisation, including its branches and subsidiaries.
- Designing and documenting reporting, approval, and delegation processes.
- Developing supporting materials such as approval and delegation matrices, charters, and work instructions.
- Assist with committee work and handle administrative tasks like taking minutes and managing documentation.
- Analyse AML regulations, assess their operational impact, and ensure accurate implementation.
- Provide concrete and succinct advice and guidance on financial crime compliance to the organisation and management.
- Develop and run a quarterly reporting process for the Board of Directors on Financial Crime Prevention. Establish a strong MI foundation by ensuring accuracy and consistency in data sources, regularly validate MI data to maintain integrity, gather relevant information from key stakeholders, and produce comprehensive reports that provide actionable insights for the Board.
Your Profile
You thrive in fast-paced environments where change and uncertainty are part of everyday life, yet you maintain a strong attention to detail. Acting as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, you enjoy contributing to cross-functional projects and consistently aim for commercially sound solutions that meet regulatory standards.
Your professional judgment enables you to navigate and balance competing priorities effectively. With at least five years of experience in the financial sector - ideally with a focus on governance structures and management information for preventing financial crime and ensuring compliance - you bring relevant expertise in AML governance, interpreting financial crime-related regulatory requirements, risk management, and compliance.
You are skilled in data analysis and management information, capable of designing and implementing reporting processes that guarantee robust data integrity and thorough validation. Your experience includes working with financial crime regulations and drafting policies, procedures, charters, and work instructions, as well as providing informed guidance in these areas.
You possess advanced writing and editing skills in English, with the ability to simplify complex matters for diverse audiences. A strong sense of ownership and a drive for continuous improvement define your approach, as you seek the best solutions while managing multiple projects and tasks simultaneously. Proactive and quality-driven, you enjoy solving challenges and building relationships across all levels and borders in a global, dynamic environment.
While you are a team player, you also work independently with ease. Professional fluency in English is essential, and although Danish or other languages are not required, they are considered an advantage as they can help you understand local laws and foster cultural connections.
