Job Summary

The Nasdaq Internal Audit department covers all Nasdaq operations, evaluating internal controls to mitigate risks. As a Business Auditor, you will focus on projects related to Nasdaq’s Financial Technology (FinTech) business operations, finances, and regulatory obligations. This role involves assessing control quality within the FinTech division, developing and evaluating internal audit programs for processes like software development life cycle, client success, data management, and operational monitoring. You will manage multiple concurrent projects, perform control assessments, design testing, communicate findings, and utilize automated audit tools.

About this opportunity: The Internal Audit department has the global responsibility of covering all operations. Working closely with the core business lines, the Internal Audit team evaluates internal controls to ensure that the organization has appropriate arrangements in place to mitigate risks that could negatively affect our business. As a Business Auditor, you will be working with projects related to Nasdaq’s Financial Technology (FinTech) business operations, finances and regulatory obligations. What you will do: In this role, you will be responsible for assessing the quality of controls within the Financial Technology division, across all risks areas including, but not limited to accounting, finance, and operations. This includes developing, planning and evaluating internal audit programs for FinTech processes such as the software development life cycle, client success, data management and security, operational monitoring, and lead to cash. While you will have a special focus on the Financial Technology division, the audit work will span various departments to ensure compliance with the organization's policies, procedures and standards. Other responsibilities in your day-to-day work will also require you to: * Perform responsibilities for multiple concurrent projects, managing conflicting priorities to achieve results on time. * Perform and oversee the planning, interviewing, and assessment of controls and procedures in specialized area. * Design testing of controls and procedures in specialized area. * Provide input and optimally communicate relevant audit findings to auditees. * Utilize automated audit tools as an integrating part of audit planning when appropriate. What we expect: * Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, or a related field. * Several years of relevant working experience. * Analytical mindset and a high level of integrity. * Strong team player, approachable, collaborative. * Excellent communicational skills in English, both written and spoken. Professional auditing or accounting certifications is a plus, as well as experience in FinTech or Tech industry. What happens now?
