This role in Intel's Strategic Initiatives finance group focuses on managing overall Intel Foundry (IF) revenue from internal and external customers. Key responsibilities include driving reliable accounting, forecasting, and reporting of IF revenue, managing close processes, SOX controls, and policy initiatives. The analyst will also manage revenue POR forecasts and opportunities, continuously improve forecast accuracy, and collaborate with operations and accounting policy on revenue recognition. The role involves leading efficiency initiatives and requires strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, with an aptitude for business processes and systemics.

Job Description:

Intel Foundry Revenue finance team, residing in Strategic Initiatives finance group, is responsible for managing overall IF revenue, including revenue from internal and external customers. This role will be critical to ensure revenue is properly forecasted and accounted in actuals.

The primary responsibilities for this role will include, but are not limited to:

  • Driving reliable accounting, forecasting, and reporting IF revenue.
  • Managing revenue close processes, as well as related systems, SOX controls and policy related initiatives.
  • Managing revenue POR forecast and revenue opportunities processes by working with revenue leads and operations partners.
  • Continuously improving forecast accuracy.
  • Working with operations and accounting policy to determine revenue recognition treatment for deals.
  • Leading broader revenue process efficiency and effectiveness initiatives.

A successful candidate will have proven experience demonstrating the following skills and behavioral traits:

  • The individual should have a passion and an aptitude for business processes and systemics's, be invigorated by new challenges such as learning new technical skills on the job and solving problems without clear or known answers.
  • Strong communication and partnership skills are required, including the skill to interface with all levels of the organization (from analysts to VPs).
  • Problem solving within a fast-paced environment.
  • Must have a track record of strong analytical thinking, financial modelling, and business partnership.
  • Experience working with ambiguity as required by a growing business.

Qualifications:

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
  • 3+ years of related practical experience in financial or accounting roles.
  • 1+ years of experience on Financial Analysis, Budgeting and Planning, Forecasting and Business Modeling.
  • Advanced English level.
  • Must have unrestricted-permanent right to work in Costa Rica.
