This role ensures execution excellence across a large product portfolio, optimizing cost, quality, and customer satisfaction.

  • Collaborate with Silicon and Platform Design, Validation, Technology Development, Fab/Assembly, and Business Units.

  • Ensure MPE organizations are appropriately resourced for agility, focus, and execution efficiency.
  • Influence product design and supply chain requirements for manufacturing and quality processes.
  • Ensure the organization meets committed RnD and Product Cost targets.
  • Drive cost reduction initiatives to achieve improved financial objectives.
  • Build and lead a high-performing engineering team, fostering execution excellence and accountability.

About the Organization (MPE)

The Manufacturing Product Engineering (MPE) organization under SiG, is responsible for test and product engineering for all data center and client products that Intel ships. The organization has a large global footprint with passionate and high performing employees with a strong vision to make manufacturing development a competitive advantage.

About the Role:

The Vice President of MPE is accountable for manufacturing and test solutions for all data center and client products at Intel. This position involves managing product development engineering organizations to drive testability and manufacturability of products from feasibility stage through production ramp. This role is accountable for driving execution excellence across a large portfolio of products while ensuring optimization of cost, and the highest levels of quality and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic and Operational Leadership:

  • Defines and sets a comprehensive strategy for the product development organization to ensure all roadmap needs are supported.
  • Establishes and monitors key performance indicators (KPIs) for product execution, yield, test time, and product quality to ensure organization is meeting product, quality and cost goals.
  • Collaborates closely with Silicon and Platform Design, Silicon Validation, Technology Development, Fab/Assembly and Business Units to ensure alignment between product execution and customer requirements and strategic objectives.
  • Defines strategic objectives to optimize cost structures and operational efficiencies while maintaining product execution commitments.
  • Ensures that all MPE organizations are appropriately resourced for agility, focus, and execution efficiency to deliver outcomes aligned to organization and product goals.
  • Influences product design and supply chain requirements for appropriate manufacturing and quality processes, systems, tools, and procedures for testability and manufacturability.

Financial Management:

  • Ensures that the organization meets committed RnD and Product Cost targets.
  • Drives cost reduction initiatives to achieve improved financial objectives around RnD and product cost for the company.

Team Leadership:

  • Build and lead a high-performing engineering team, role model Intel values, foster a culture of execution excellence, continuous improvement and accountability.
  • Partner with peers and stakeholders to drive collaboration across cross-functional teams to achieve operational and strategic goals.
  • Lead organization and leadership development to grow the organizational technical capability and ensure the organization has the capability to deliver to product commitments.
  • Solid understanding of the full manufacturing test and product engineering flows with the right level of the technical detail depth to have oversight and drive change in manufacturing test methodologies.
  • Demonstrated success in leading large, cross-functional and cross-geographic teams to achieve Intel corporate objectives.
  • High tolerance for ambiguity and the ability to lead in a fast-paced, multi-cultural environment.
  • Financial PandL acumen in the areas of budget management and revenue maximization.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor or /master's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent

15-20 years of technical management experience

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US:

$999.00-$999,999.00

Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience.
