Job Description

As a Tech Programmer, you will be a key player in the development of our next AAA game, joining our Engine Tech team and collaborating with programmers, designers, artists, and testers. Your role involves creating and maintaining innovative tools and core engine systems, working with our in-house engine team, Snowdrop™. You'll be responsible for implementing and optimizing various engine systems across multiple hardware platforms, ensuring high-quality, scalable solutions that prioritize performance, memory efficiency, and load times.
Must have:
  • Designing, implementing, debugging, and iterating on engine systems and tools
  • Performance awareness in algorithms, memory, and bandwidth usage
  • Working in C++ on integrated editor/game development tools
  • Providing support for team members during critical stages
  • Evaluating and integrating new technologies to improve environment and processes

Job Details

As a Tech Programmer, you'll be a pivotal contributor to the development of our next AAA game, being a part of our Engine Tech team, collaborating closely with skilled programmers, designers, artists and testers. Your role will focus on creating and maintaining innovative tools and core engine systems, working in tandem with our in-house engine team, Snowdrop™. You will be responsible for implementing and optimizing various engine systems across multiple hardware platforms, ensuring high-quality, scalable solutions that prioritize performance, memory efficiency, and load times.

We're offering a permanent position in Malmö, Sweden, with the flexibility to work partially from home (up to two days a week) under our Flexible Workplace Policy. Please apply using English, our company's primary language.

What you’ll do

  • Designing, implementing, debugging, and iterating on new and existing engine systems and tools 
  • Performance awareness in algorithms as well as in memory and bandwidth usage 
  • Working in C++ on our integrated editor/game development tools  
  • Being motivated and providing support for other team members during critical stages of development  
  • Evaluating and integrating new technologies to improve our environment and processes
