Context

The "Radio Firmware" team, based in Caen, is responsible for providing the software (firmware) necessary for the operation of NFC and UWB components designed by NXP. These components, which equip a majority of mobile phones and connected objects and allow them to communicate (banking transactions, location, data exchange), are widely distributed. High-performance and automated testing methods must constantly be developed and improved to ensure effective validation of this software.

We are looking for a final year intern for a period of 6 months in this area.

Missions

The intern will be responsible for/will carry out the following missions:

  • Design of new NFC and WLC (Wireless Charging) test benches
  • Software extension of the test framework (for measurement instruments, electronic cards)
  • Analysis of needs, proposal of technical solutions
  • Automation of test benches and coupling to an automatic test platform (Jenkins)

Profile

Education level:

Bac +5, final year of Engineering School or Master 2, specializing in Industrial Informatics or Computer Science

Desired knowledge:

Computer development (Python, C), electronics

Good level of English, ability to evolve in an international context

A strong passion for software development and the ability to quickly grasp new technical subjects are key points for the success of this internship.
