Reporting Relationship: Production
What do we want to know about you?
Education: 3 Years Tertiary Qualification (Engineering) Degree/Diploma
Key Responsibilities: Include the following (Other duties may be assigned)
- Production support – Find and read drawings, link issues to the relevant parts that could contribute and make reasonable judgement about the most likely offender.
- Analyze the production team’s inputs for the problem they are having. Use knowledge from drawing\assembly combined with Logical thinking to ask the correct questions and drive the investigation
- Investigative support – Take problems that have been raised sort where the investigation should be aligned. Use tools to identify possible root causes and contributors. This includes:
- Ishikawa \ FTA \ Excel data
- MRP support for Oracle implementation – Navigate through oracle and understand the process flow.
- Find possible issues\ corrections required.
- Manage uploads to the system, revisions, drawings
- Documentation support - Create and update documentation, ie maintenance manuals.
- Safety Support – Investigations and general support
- Quality Improvements - Investigations and general support
- Productivity Improvements - Investigations and general support
Ad hoc Duties
- Support tracking of progress on Changes, Excel gant chart
- Support and attend to HTS requests
- May need to work offsite from time to time
- May need to travel locally as required by the business
Person Specification
- Strong analytical and research skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Interest in manufacturing and Engineering
- Strong knowledge of operational functions & cross functional inter dependencies
