Job Description

The Junior Accountant/Controller will be responsible for establishing and managing accounting processes within EPICOR, including payroll integration, social charges, and tax payments. This role involves handling employee travel expenses, managing accounts payable, performing bank reconciliations, and preparing monthly or quarterly financial reports. The position requires collaboration with IT teams and external consultants for system implementation and ongoing financial operations.
Must Have:
  • Set up company accounting in EPICOR.
  • Integrate SAFEGUARD payroll and manage social charges/tax payments.
  • Manage employee travel expenses and Workday training.
  • Handle Accounts Payable (AP) expenses and Medius setup.
  • Perform bank reconciliation and Cash Pooling interactions.
  • Prepare monthly or quarterly financial reports.

  • Creation of the company in EPICOR (several interactions with the EPICOR IT team and interactions with PSE, external consultant for implementation in France)
  • Configuration to integrate the SAFEGUARD payroll file, manage social charges and tax payments
  • Probable travel expenses for Evident employees, mainly sales and technicians: obtaining a company card for them, training on Workday use, booking travel expenses and managing BOA statement booking or travel expense payments, if applicable
  • Probable AP expenses to be booked (Safeguard, car rental, tolls and fuel cards, etc.) - creation of a dedicated AP box and a company within Medius
  • Bank reconciliation to be set up and managed thereafter / Cash Pooling interactions
  • VAT statements?
  • Monthly trial balance from Deloitte?
  • Some re-invoicing
  • Monthly reports (or at least quarterly at the beginning)
