Job Description

The intern will be working in the Oral Care Area Team and will specifically help look after the Gum Health category. The Intern will be able to collaborate across the organization with visibility from the Global Category Teams as well as the 7 local markets that make up the SEAT business unit. The intern will adapt and roll-out global plans and projects, lead specific innovation projects, create and localize full-funnel campaigns, coordinate with local stakeholders, and track local market performance. The intern will gain experience in digital media and digital commerce.

We are looking to provide a learning opportunity for an Intern in the Southeast Asia & Taiwan (SEAT) Area Marketing team for the Oral Health portfolio. The Intern will be delivering strategic plans, innovation projects and key marketing campaigns down into the SEAT Markets. He/She/They will be working in the Oral Care Area Team and will specifically help look after the Gum Health category. The Intern will be able to collaborate across the organization with visibility from the Global Category Teams as well as the 7 local markets that make up the SEAT business unit. There will also be a lot of cross collaboration with other functions such as medical, regulatory and the local commercial teams to ensure that the plans are rolled-out and implemented in the markets.

Preferred Period of Internship Required: Jan 2025 – June 2025

Preferred School/Course of Intern: Undergraduate students majoring in Business, Management or Marketing

Key Responsibilities

You will be required to:

  • Cascade and adapt global plans and projects and roll-out with the markets
  • Lead specific innovation projects ensuring timely launches in the markets
  • Create and localize full-funnel campaigns which are fit for purpose in the markets. This will entail the intern to work across the multiple consumer touchpoints and the consumer journey
  • Coordinate with local stakeholders to ensure key activities and initiatives are properly implemented and executed  
  • Track local market performance to ensure that targets and plans are met

Learning Outcomes

Throughout the course of the internship, you will attain the following learning outcomes:

  • Understand how to adapt and localize global plans and transform them into campaigns fit for the local markets
  • Understand how to run a campaign across the entire CEJ and multiple platforms
    • Understand how to create campaigns across the marketing funnel from Awareness to purchase
    • Create marketing materials for different consumer and media touchpoints:
      • TV
      • Digital Media
      • In-store
      • Expert/ HCP-facing
  • Gain exposure to various agencies which handle creative production and media planning

  • Gain skills and experience in digital media and digital-commerce

  • Gain exposure in launching products into markets with visibility and interaction across the entire project team and process (from planning, to production, to launch) with accountability on delivering to timelines
  • Gain leadership skills by coordinating and interacting with different markets and stakeholders within the organization
  • Gain valuable experience in working with and within the different markets within Southeast Asia and Taiwan
