Join us as a Software Engineering Intern and become part of a team responsible for building key components of Autodesk's Delivery Platform. This role is perfect for individuals passionate about developing platforms and ecosystems that support diverse workflows and integrations. We're seeking fast learners who enjoy tackling challenges related to scalability, optimization, and reliability—and who are excited about adopting emerging technologies including but not limited to Artificial Intelligence. Key responsibilities include innovative research, designing and building software applications for various platforms, collaborating with cross-functional teams, investigating new technologies, and driving excellence in design and implementation.
Must have:
  • Engage in innovative research to develop practical solutions for desktop and cloud-based applications
  • Design and build software applications that enhance Autodesk’s offerings across Windows, macOS, and Linux platforms
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address integration challenges across various components and SDKs
  • Investigate, prototype, and evaluate new technologies and algorithms as needed
  • Drive excellence in design and implementation with a focus on efficiency, scalability, and performance
  • Participate in design and code reviews within your team and across other teams
  • Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Available for a full-time, 6-month internship from January to June 2026

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in innovative research to develop practical solutions for desktop and cloud-based applications
  • Design and build software applications that enhance Autodesk’s offerings across Windows, macOS, and Linux platforms
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address integration challenges across various components and SDKs
  • Investigate, prototype, and evaluate new technologies and algorithms as needed
  • Drive excellence in design and implementation with a focus on efficiency, scalability, and performance
  • Participate in design and code reviews within your team and across other teams

Basic Qualifications:

  • Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Available for a full-time, 6-month internship from January to June 2026

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in programming languages like C++, Python and Node.js
  • Familiarity with AI concepts, AI development lifecycle, IDEs like Cursor etc.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools and deployment pipelines
  • Experience with modern front-end frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue is a plus
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

What You’ll Learn:

  • Hands-on experience building AI-enhanced components and intelligent services
  • Learn how to build consistent, reusable, and adaptable modules
  • Develop an understanding of user-centric design through stakeholder collaboration and decision-making processes
