  • Conduct market analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, product, finance) within the business unit and broader WK Europe organization
  • Create competitive pricing strategies for product offerings in collaboration with product leadership
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings across Europe
  • Monitor performance metrics and report on progress to senior leadership
  • Proven experience in international business development, preferably within Europe
  • Proven track record in launching existing products in new markets
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, International Relations or related field
  • Willingness to travel frequently across the region

About the role:

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic International Business Development Manager to lead our expansion efforts across Europe. This role is ideal for a commercially driven professional with a passion for international markets (territory: Europe), strategic partnerships, and accelerated growth.

In this role you will be part of the business development team & report to the Managing Director of the business unit that encompasses Codabox, Clearfacts, Clearnox and Flowin. This division is part of TAA Europe.

As International Business Development Manager, you will leverage your solid understanding of business, financials, products, and markets to develop and implement effective go-to-market programs in the accounting and e-invoicing space.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy for European markets.
  • Identify, evaluate, and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and distribution channels.
  • Conduct in-depth market research to identify key opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, clients, and industry influencers.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, product, finance) our business unit and also within the broader organization of WK Europe to align business goals.
  • In collaboration with product leadership, create competitive pricing strategies for product offerings.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings across Europe.
  • Monitor performance metrics and report on progress to senior leadership.

Skills:

  • Proven experience in international business development, preferably within Europe.
  • Proven track record in launching existing products in new markets.
  • Strong understanding of European market dynamics, regulations, and cultural nuances, especially in the field of accounting, e-invoicing and financial workflows in general.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Fluent in English, Dutch and French; additional European languages are a strong asset.
  • Data Interpretation, ability to interpret and utilize market data.
  • Expert user of the most common CRM tools (Salesforce, …).
  • Willingness to travel frequently across the region.
  • Effective negotiation skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, International Relations or related field (MBA preferred).

Location:

Hybrid function, covering Europe. Your primary office will be Mechelen (BE) or Leuven (BE), but you’re expected to travel within Europe whenever that’s required for your International business development role. Working from home is allowed, however for team meetings you’re expected to be in the office.
