Our commitments, your benefits
Your daily life
At the heart of Saint Quentin en Yvelines, the Elancourt site is one of the most important Thales technological centers of excellence. The diversity and technicality of the systems and equipment mobilize expertise in more than 80 professions in defense, high-tech security, and digital services solutions.
This internship subject is part of a context of improving the performance of optronic products. Theoretical and technical support will be provided by the Digital/Analog/Power Service where you will be welcomed. This study will ultimately serve the development of electronic boards for new generation products. The Digital/Analog/Power Service, part of the Technical Competence Center, designs and develops digital electronic boards (FPGA, DSP, memories, communication buses) and analog (low noise signals, sensor acquisition) and power (DC/DC, motor/servomechanism control) boards. The service is composed of about thirty engineers and technicians in electronics.
Within the analog acquisition chains of our optronic products based on the use of operational amplifier components in transimpedance (TIA) configuration, we observe that the bandwidth of our TIA configurations is highly dependent on the parasitic feedback capacitance of the configurations. The goal of the internship would be to realize and test different feedback topologies in TIA configurations.
The different missions of the internship are:
Your profile
Are you in the last year of an engineering curriculum specializing in electronics and looking for a 6-month internship?
Do you have strong knowledge in electronics and associated components (power)?
Do you have a good command of reading electronic board schematics and electronic circuit simulation tools?
Ideally, do you have basics in operational amplifiers?
Are you familiar with the LTSPICE simulation tool and schematic / placement / routing tools (KiCad / ALLEGRO)?
Are you recognized for your good synthesis ability, strong motivation, and interpersonal skills?
Then this internship is for you!
All our internships are formalized by an agreement and subject to remuneration, the amount of which is determined by your level of study.
