Job Summary
This role is for a Product Design Authority (PDA) focusing on anti-collision products, a new product line for autonomous platforms and helicopters. The PDA will serve as the technical leader for the team and the overall technical interface with the client. Key responsibilities include ensuring effective technical cooperation among Thales's multi-site teams to guarantee solution compliance with client requirements and maintaining the high technical quality of delivered products and services.
Must Have

Your daily life
The Gennevilliers Campus is the heart of design, development, and support activities for major defense systems: radiocommunications, resilient network and infrastructure systems, satellite communications, collaborative combat, and cybersecurity. Located north of Paris, it is easily accessible by public transport.
You will join the Technical Directorate of the Communication, Identification, and Navigation domain, composed of a team of 15 PDAs from different product lines: IFF (identification), Radio, MMR (Multi Mode Receiver), radio altimeters, TACAN, and LOS data link.
As a Product Design Authority (PDA) for anti-collision products, you will take technical responsibility for a new product line intended for autonomous platforms and helicopters. This unique product line in Europe is positioned in a rapidly growing market.
In this capacity, you will:
- Be the technical leader of the team and the overall technical interface with the client,
- Ensure good technical cooperation between Thales's multi-site teams to guarantee the solution's compliance with client needs,
- Guarantee the good technical quality of the products and services delivered.
Your profile
- With an Engineering/Bac+5 degree with a focus on electronics, you have at least 10 years of experience in the design and development of embedded electronic products and you possess skills in digital, radio frequencies, software, FPGA for airborne systems?
- Your peers recognize your rigour, pragmatism, autonomy, and interpersonal skills, allowing you to work effectively in a team?
