Job Summary
We are looking for a talented and passionate Mandarin speaking Producer to join our team to lead the development of multiple game features from concept through release on a new title. This role involves leading feature and development teams, collaborating across all disciplines, overseeing communication with Chinese-speaking partners, and working closely with the Game Director and Production Director to shape, plan, and deliver multiple features. The Producer will also manage risks and ensure alignment across departments and studio titles.
Must Have
- Business-level fluency in Mandarin, both written and spoken
- Strong cross-cultural communication skills
- Knowledge of industry-specific cultural differences between Western and Chinese markets
- Proven experience leading teams building AAA titles
- Familiarity with agile project management methodologies and tools
- Broad understanding of game development across multiple disciplines

- Background in a development area such as art, audio, design, or production

Overview:

What you’ll do:
- Lead feature and development teams, collaborating across all disciplines to define goals, requirements, and work priorities.
- Oversee communication with Chinese-speaking partners, ensuring clarity and alignment throughout co-development projects.
- Work closely with the Game Director and Production Director to shape, plan, and deliver multiple features.
- Apply awareness of cultural differences between Western and Chinese game development markets to improve collaboration and production outcomes.
- Regularly review progress with the team and senior management, gathering feedback and ensuring alignment across departments.
- Define, identify, and manage risks from concept through development, adjusting plans as needed.
- Document, track, and communicate project status, scheduling changes, and dependencies with key team members.
- Ensure teams remain informed on progress across all studio titles, working closely with the wider production group.
Job requirements
What we’re looking for from you:

- Background in a development area such as art, audio, design, or production (desirable but not required).
- A passion for solving problems, building motivated teams, and driving features to a high-quality release.
What can you expect during the Interview Process:
Our interview process typically takes 2–4 weeks, depending on availability, and usually consists of two stages:
- First interview (60 minutes) – Interview with members of our Production team and Head of Talent. This role will be focussed on the project and your skills and experience. You will have the opportunity to understand how our Production team work and the overall structure of our teams.
- Final interview (60 minutes) – A final Interview with our Studio Head and Studio Production Director. This will be a chance for you to get to know the Senior Management team and all the things that make Lucid, Lucid! You will have a lot of opportunities to ask any questions about the studio and Culture.
