Your daily life

At the heart of the PACA region's Silicon Valley, our site brings together our activities developing cutting-edge sonars equipping submarines and surface vessels, as well as digital services activities. A pioneer in the field of simulation products, the site mobilizes in-depth expertise in acoustics and signal processing.

As part of the activities for future Sonar HMIs using WEB technologies, we are developing various prototypes to demonstrate future functionalities.

At the Sophia-Antipolis site, within the Sonar Systems team, you will join the team working on the operation of HMIs and future sonar systems.

Your main missions will be:

• Collaborate on the design of HMIs for the operation of a critical and complex system. This HMI can be used to conduct experiments related to concepts.
• Prototype this HMI in Web (React) or Unity.
• Test and integrate your developments.
• Participate in various project progress meetings and demonstrations.
• Participate in the design and implementation of a scientific experiment aimed at measuring and comparing usability, including visual attention paid to interfaces (e.g., using eye tracking).

You will have the opportunity to work in a team with multidisciplinary engineers: Research Engineers, Development Engineers, UX Designer, Human Factors Expert, former French Navy operational personnel...

All our internships are subject to an agreement and remuneration, the amount of which is determined according to your level of study. The position may require access to information relating to national defense secrecy; the selected person will be subject to a security clearance procedure, in accordance with the provisions of articles R.2311-1 et seq. of the Defense Code and IGI 1300 SGDSN/PSE of August 9, 2021.
