Job Description

At the heart of the PACA region's Silicon Valley, our site develops cutting-edge sonars. You will join the multidisciplinary team for future Sonar HMIs and their operation. Your missions will involve participating in/leading UX/UI workshops, contributing to HMI creation with user-centered approaches, and conducting Human Factors analyses, including cognitive load analysis by Eye tracking. This 6-month internship offers the opportunity to work in an innovative industrial group, leveraging academic skills and developing new ones in the defense sector.
Must Have:
  • BAC+5 level in UX/UI and/or Human Factors
  • Skills in activity analysis
  • Skills in user-centered design
  • Skills in HMI ergonomics
  • Skills in Human Factors
  • Technical English proficiency (reading, writing, speaking)

Your daily life

At the heart of the PACA region's Silicon Valley, our site brings together our activities developing cutting-edge sonars equipping submarines and surface vessels, as well as digital services activities. A pioneer in the field of simulation products, the site mobilizes in-depth expertise in acoustics and signal processing.

Within the Sonar Systems Segment team, you will join the future Sonar HMIs and their operation team, a multidisciplinary team composed of former operational staff, UX Designers, data engineers, architects, development engineers...

Your main missions will be as follows:

You will be responsible for: UX/UI

  • Participate or even lead workshops on different themes
  • Contribute to the creation of HMIs with user-centered approaches: UX/UI
  • Contribute according to your skills to Human Factors analyses

You will be responsible for: Human Factors

  • Continue the work of analyzing cognitive load by Eye tracking and enrich it with new measurements
  • Contribute according to your skills to the creation of HMIs with user-centered approaches: UX/UI

Your profile

Is your priority to join an innovative industrial group and discover the world of defense?

Do you have the ambition to leverage your academic achievements in an industrial environment and develop new skills?

Do you have a BAC+5 level, engaged in a curriculum predominantly in UX/UI and/or Human Factors, and are you looking for a 6-month internship?

  • Do you have skills in activity analysis, user-centered design, HMI ergonomics, and Human Factors?
  • Is your English level sufficient to read, write, and speak with technical terms?
  • Are you proactive, possess innovation capabilities, have good interpersonal skills, and a real team spirit?

Rigor, autonomy, good analytical and synthesis skills are assets you are recognized for?

All our internships are subject to an agreement and remuneration, the amount of which is determined according to your level of study. As the position may require access to information relating to national defense secrecy, the selected person will be subject to a security clearance procedure, in accordance with the provisions of articles R.2311-1 et seq. of the Defense Code and IGI 1300 SGDSN/PSE of August 09, 2021.
