Job Summary
As an Investment Analyst, you will play a key role on Russell Investments’ OCIO client service team, serving as a primary contact for day-to-day inquiries and working closely with senior team members (Client CIOs) to deliver exceptional service. You will participate in client meetings, manage quarterly investment reviews, and prepare clear, high-quality presentation and communication materials for our clients, primarily retirement plans, endowments, foundations, and hospital systems. In this role, you will partner with internal teams to provide a wide range of investment services, including policy review, asset allocation design, portfolio implementation, manager and product evaluation, and performance reporting. You will apply a strong understanding of performance calculations and attribution to deliver customized analysis and solutions in response to client requests. You will also craft clear, insightful, and well-structured written commentary, in both formal reports and client communications, to explain performance results, market conditions, and strategic recommendations in a way that is accurate, engaging, and client friendly.

Role Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Investments, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, or related field; MBA and/or CFA designation strongly preferred.
- FINRA SIE, Series 7 and 63 required (will consider ability to obtain within six months).
- At least 2 years of applied investment-related experience, with knowledge in market/economic analysis and investment strategy evaluation.
- At least 2 years of institutional investment management experience in client service, consulting, or portfolio management.
- Working knowledge of asset allocation theory, modeling techniques, and performance measurement.
- Proficiency with analytical tools and software, with the aptitude to quickly learn new systems.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to craft clear, client-ready materials and executive-level narratives.
- Demonstrated collaboration, integrity, and relationship-building skills.
