Spending Analyst - Hybrid - Rio de Janeiro - RJ

Capco is seeking a Spending Analyst for a hybrid role in Rio de Janeiro. The role involves coordinating Capex and Opex projections, preparing budget adherence reports, managing project information in SAP, monitoring monthly deviations, and ensuring correct classification of justifications. The analyst will also conduct time tracking processes, plan OAI, validate expenses for quarterly reports, and provide analyses on spending. This position requires strong analytical skills and experience in financial control.

Must Have

• 4 years of experience in similar activities
• Knowledge of BW system
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office software
• Higher education in Administration, Economics, Accounting or related fields, with regular registration in the respective class council

• Knowledge in using BI tools (Power BI and Spotfire) for information processing and managerial report issuance

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS

EXPERIENCE

• 4 (four) years of experience in activities similar to the scope of services, subject to contract supervision approval;
• Knowledge of the BW system;
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office software.

EDUCATION

• Education Level: Higher education in Administration, Economics, Accounting or other areas related to the specialty. With regular registration in the respective class council.

DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS

• Knowledge of SAP modules MM, CO, FI, PS, PM.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Coordinate the monthly Capex and/or Opex projection process;
• Prepare monthly report on budget adherence for investment and portfolio projects;
• Prepare material regarding investment and operational expense control for critical analysis/results meetings;
• Manage planning vs. realization information and justifications;
• Manage the department's projects in the SAP system (create and structure project definitions, etc.);
• Perform monthly monitoring and consolidate information on project deviation justifications considering realization up to the current month and forecast for the current year;
• Supervise and guide project areas on the correct classification of deviation justification classes according to corporate guidelines;
• Prepare investment project evolution report, with budgetary and qualitative analyses, legal and managerial aspects information;
• Lead the time tracking process and provide guidance on procedures and deadlines;
• Lead the annual and monthly OAI planning process;
• Perform, analyze, and validate expenses for the RGT (Quarterly Expense Report);
• Perform time tracking for active employees in SAP;
• Prepare material for critical analysis meetings of expense indicators and department results;
• Manage information and justifications for planning vs. realization of overtime for department employees;
• Manage the department's projects in the SAP system (create and structure the WBS, inform correct objects for expense allocation, sanitize and block objects, issue CEOP, etc.);
• Perform validation and adjustment of cost objects informed in offshore transportation requisitions for people and cargo;
• Provide information, low to medium complexity analyses, and clarifications on analyzed expenses to interested parties and/or in partnership processes;
• And other similar activities of the same complexity and scope.
