Job Description

The Local IT Technician at Ubisoft Belgrade is responsible for providing comprehensive on-site and remote technical support to employees. This includes managing incidents and requests, maintaining local IT infrastructure like servers and networks, ensuring security best practices, and provisioning work environments. The role also involves supporting equipment moves, managing IT assets, and contributing to documentation and process improvements, ensuring a smooth and secure IT operation for the local site.
Good To Have:
  • CompTIA A+ or comparable (Microsoft, Networking, Virtualization etc.) certification
  • Knowledge of mobile support and MDM
  • Knowledge of conferencing and multimedia equipment
  • Scripting ability (batch files, PowerShell, etc.)
  • Linux / MacOS knowledge
  • Knowledge of ITIL methodologies
Must Have:
  • Offer on-site and remote support to end users
  • Manage incidents and requests
  • Manage local infrastructure (example, servers and network)
  • Ensure approved security best practices and policies
  • Provisioning and maintaining the employees work environment
  • Maintaining the local meeting room configurations
  • Interact with external vendors regarding support requests
  • Strive to continually improve IT policies and processes
  • Provides hardware support for onsite events & meetings
  • Support employees during equipment moves
  • Maintain the IT asset inventory
  • Build and update documentation
  • 2+ years of experience in technical support to end users
  • Relevant education in Information Technology or equivalent experience
  • Expertise in PC and laptop support and latest hardware news
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft operating systems
  • Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite
  • Good English skills (spoken and written)
  • Good knowledge of networking, cabling
  • Good knowledge of SCCM / Intune and Active Directory (Azure / OnPrem)
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Ability to work effectively in fast-paced changing environment
  • Good organizational skill
  • Good dexterity and ability to perform manual labor

QUALIFICATIONS

What you bring:

Relevant experience

2+ years of experience in technical support to end users

Training

  • Relevant education in Information Technology or equivalent experience
  • CompTIA A+ or comparable (Microsoft, Networking, Virtualization etc.) certification is an asset

Knowledge
