Role Overview

As a Junior BI Generalist, you will play a crucial role in supporting our product managers and other stakeholders by providing insights into player behavior and game performance. You will work closely with our data engineering team to ensure that stakeholders have the data they need to make informed decisions.

This is an entry-level position ideal for someone with strong analytical skills, a passion for gaming, and a desire to grow in the field of business intelligence. You will be using Looker as your main BI tool connected to Snowflake, our data warehouse.
  • Work with stakeholders to understand their business questions and create dashboards, reports, and data visualizations in Looker.
  • Write and optimize SQL queries to extract meaningful insights from our Snowflake database.
  • Collaborate with data engineering teams to ensure data accuracy and consistency across reports
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as DAU (Daily Active Users), retention, and monetization metrics to support game performance analysis.
  • Maintain and update existing Looker dashboards, ensuring they remain aligned with business objectives.
  • Proactively identify trends in player behavior that may impact game development or feature optimization.
  • Participate in team meetings to present findings and contribute to discussions on how to improve game experiences based on data insights.


Required Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or similar).
  • Basic experience with SQL and an interest in learning more about database querying.
  • Familiarity with Looker or any other BI tools (Tableau, Power BI) is a plus but not required – we will provide training.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Passion for mobile games or the gaming industry is a big plus!
