Job Summary
N-iX is seeking a Junior Business Analyst to join their team, working with a fast-growing mobile company client. The role involves gathering and analyzing business and system requirements, collaborating with stakeholders to document user stories, and supporting the preparation of functional specifications. Key responsibilities also include participating in backlog refinement, sprint planning, and daily stand-ups, assisting the Product Owner with backlog management, and clarifying requirements for scrum teams. The analyst will also help validate solutions, prepare reports, and support project planning and communication.
Must Have
- Participate in gathering and analyzing business and system requirements
- Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify business needs and document them in user stories
- Support the preparation of functional specifications and process diagrams (BPMN, UML)
- Participate in backlog refinement, sprint planning, and daily stand-ups
- Support a Product Owner in managing the backlog and defining priorities
- Support scrum teams in clarifying and negotiating the requirements with the stakeholders
- Assist in validating delivered solutions
- Prepare reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders
- Assist Scrum Masters and Project Managers with planning and communication
- 1 year of experience in a business analysis or related role
- Basic knowledge of business analysis techniques and methodologies
- Familiarity with requirements documentation (User Stories, Use Cases, BRD, SRS)
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, or similar tools
- Understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies
- Strong communication and analytical skills
- Basic understanding of system integrations (REST/SOAP APIs, JSON/XML, Message Brokers etc)
- Attention to details and a structured documentation approach
- Understanding and ability to document both functional and non-functional requirements
- Ability to prioritize and organize work effectively in a dynamic environment
- Upper-Intermediate English level or higher
Good to Have
- Basic knowledge of SQL for data analysis
- Experience with process modeling tools (Lucidchart, Miro, BPMN tools)
- Basic understanding of microservices architecture and backend service
- Hands-on experience with Swagger/Postman
