Job Description

Lingokids is seeking a Junior Graphic Designer to create visually compelling marketing materials, driving brand awareness and customer engagement. The role involves executing high-quality visual assets for campaigns, social media, and email, ensuring strict adherence to brand guidelines. The designer will contribute ideas, organize assets, support vendors, and collaborate with marketing and copywriting teams, all while applying an understanding of target audiences (children and parents). This position is crucial for a global leader in educational technology aiming to redefine the future of education through Playlearning™.

Must Have:
  • 1-2 years of experience in graphic design

  • Familiarity with FIGMA
  • Basic understanding of file preparation for digital and print output

What you’ll do:

  • Visual Execution: Execute and deliver high-quality visual assets for marketing campaigns, social media, email, and other promotional materials, primarily working within existing templates and design systems, but also assisting on creating templates from scratch.
  • Brand Adherence: Diligently ensure all assets strictly adhere to established brand guidelines, acting as a detail-oriented brand guardian for your assigned tasks.
  • Audience Awareness: Apply an understanding of our target audiences (children and parents) when executing designs, ensuring visuals are appropriate and engaging under the guidance of senior designers.
  • Creative Support: Contribute ideas to brainstorming sessions and help visualize initial concepts and mood boards as requested by the Senior Graphic Designer.
  • Asset Organization: Properly name, categorize, and archive design files and final assets in the shared library to ensure efficient team workflow. Prepare, check, and finalize production-ready files for all channels (digital, print, web, etc.), ensuring correct file specifications and delivery based on channel requirements.
  • Vendor Support: Assist the Senior Designer by preparing assets or compiling final files for external vendors and freelancers.
  • Time Management: Effectively organize your personal workload, manage time to meet deadlines for individual tasks, and proactively communicate any potential delays to the Senior Designer and/or Creative Project Manager.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with designers, marketers, and copywriters to ensure design solutions meet project requirements.
  • Receptive to feedback: Eagerly receive and promptly apply constructive feedback from senior team members to improve design skills and output.

  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in graphic design.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
  • Technical Skills: Strong working knowledge in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). Familiarity with FIGMA. Basic understanding of file preparation for digital and print output.
