Job Summary
Lingokids is seeking a passionate Freelance Social Media Manager to join their team and contribute to redefining education through Playlearning™. This role involves managing Lingokids’ organic social media presence across platforms like Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, Facebook, and X. Key responsibilities include developing social media strategy, building content calendars, copywriting for B2C and B2B audiences, supporting analytics reports, coordinating UGC collaborations, cross-team coordination, and community management. The ideal candidate will blend strategy, structure, and creativity to deliver high-quality, on-brand content consistently.
Must Have
- Build and maintain weekly and monthly content calendars
- Map IP-driven content into channel strategies
- Support product and marketing launches, partnerships, and awards
- Write channel-appropriate copy for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn, and X
- Adapt copy for B2C and B2B audiences
- Support creation of carousels, video scripts, captions, and metadata
- Ensure brand voice consistency
- Brief, review, and/or assemble short-form content (Reels, TikTok, Shorts)
- Maintain publishing cadence
- Coordinate with design/motion teams
- Source, brief, and manage UGC creators
- Review UGC submissions for brand and safety guidelines
- Track performance metrics weekly (views, engagement, reach, retention)
- Identify top-performing content and emerging patterns
- Recommend optimizations based on insights
- Adapt social copy for collaborations
- Support award announcements
- Write LinkedIn posts showcasing internal achievements, partnerships, and team spotlights
- Work with Growth, Creative, Brand, and PR teams
- Ensure content meets legal, brand safety, and IP partner requirements
- 5+ years experience managing social media for brands (consumer apps, kids/family, entertainment, or EdTech preferred)
- Strong copywriting skills (B2C and B2B)
- Ability to build and manage structured content calendars
- Deep understanding of Instagram Reels, TikTok trends, YouTube Shorts, and algorithms
- Experience coordinating motion/design teams
- Familiarity with UGC workflows and influencer coordination
- Ability to transform complex product beats into engaging messaging
- Comfort working with fast-moving teams and multiple stakeholders
- Fluent in English
Good to Have
- Experience working with large IP partners (Disney, Netflix, etc.)
- Basic video editing for short-form content
- Understanding of early childhood learning or family digital products
- Knowledge of social listening or analytics tools (Metricool, Brandwatch, etc.)

You will manage Lingokids’ organic social media presence across all platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, Facebook, and X), with a strong focus on:
- Social Media Strategy
- Content calendar building
- Copywriting (B2C + B2B)
- Analytics reports support (internally and to partners)
- UGC collaboration
- Cross-team coordination
- Community management
This role blends strategy + structure + creativity, with an emphasis on delivering high-quality, thumb-stopping, on-brand content consistently.
Key Responsibilities
Content Strategy & Planning
- Build and maintain weekly and monthly content calendars across all platforms.
- Map IP-driven content into channel strategies.
- Support product and marketing beats such as launches, partnerships, and awards.
Content Creation & Publishing
- Write channel-appropriate copy for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn, and X.
- Adapt copy for B2C and B2B audiences as needed.
- Support the creation of carousels, video scripts, captions, and metadata.
- Ensure brand voice consistency across all channels.
Short-Form Video Execution
- Brief, review, and/or assemble short-form content (Reels, TikTok, Shorts).
- Maintain publishing cadence.
- Coordinate with design/motion teams to ensure timely delivery of assets.
UGC & Community Content
- Source, brief, and manage UGC creators on content needs.
- Review submissions and ensure they align with brand and safety guidelines.
Data & Analytics
- Track performance metrics weekly (views, engagement, reach, retention).
- Identify top-performing content and emerging patterns (e.g., top 3 activities).
- Recommend optimizations based on insights.
Partnership & PR Support
- Adapt social copy for collaborations.
- Support award announcements.
- Write LinkedIn posts showcasing internal achievements, partnerships, and team spotlights.
Internal Coordination
- Work with Growth, Creative, Brand, and PR teams to sync messaging and timing.
- Ensure all content meets legal, brand safety, and IP partner requirements.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience managing social media for brands (preferably consumer apps, kids/family, entertainment, or EdTech).
