(Junior) Sales Manager is responsible for creating demand for PayPal POS (Point of Sale) products and services across their territory, by increasing our awareness and credibility within small business communities. This is a field-based role, responsible for targeting, qualifying and closing SMB single & multi-site operators.

Expected Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Each day, you will act as a champion for SMBs and our organization, demonstrating your in-depth knowledge and passion for the local geography and the specific needs of small businesses. You will engage with potential clients, offering tailored solutions to help them succeed. Through your efforts, you will play a crucial role in expanding our market presence and driving growth for both our merchants and PayPal.
Your day to day
- Stimulate demand for PayPal’s POS products and services in Hamburg by increasing awareness and credibility within small business communities
- Target, qualify, and close SMB single & multi-site operators in a hybrid field-based role
- Manage the sales cycle from identifying new business opportunities to closing new accounts
- Achieve monthly revenue targets and OKRs aligned with company objectives
- Present and consult confidently with prospective merchants, demonstrating how Zettle’s solutions add value to their businesses.
What you need to bring
- A minimum of 1+ years of sales experience, preferably focusing on new business acquisition
- Proficiency in German and business-level English
- A self-driven, dedicated, and motivated individual with an entrepreneurial mindset who can drive revenue growth in a fast-paced sales environment
- Proven track record of overperformance in a sales role, ideally within Payments or SaaS
- Strong customer-centric approach, excellent negotiating and consultative skills
