About the Role

As part of Maersk’s Sales & Business Management stream, this position manages the potential sale of integrated logistics solutions to customers and partners, driving revenue against forecasted quotas through a defined execution process. You will be accountable for sales strategy, processes, and achieving revenue targets across multiple channels, while identifying and negotiating new business development opportunities.

This is an individual contributor role within our professional stream, requiring deep functional knowledge and the ability to influence tactical decisions. While not a people manager, you will coach and mentor less experienced colleagues and oversee processes to ensure operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies for refrigerated cargo across Ocean, Air, and Inland transportation.
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities – hunter mindset is essential.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with strategic customers and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Product, Execution, Global Sales) to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Manage a robust pipeline and achieve double-digit annual growth targets.
  • Apply subject matter expertise to solve business challenges and influence long-term decisions.
  • Ensure high standards of stakeholder management and CRM usage (Salesforce).

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience: Proven track record in logistics sales, ideally covering Ocean and Air freight. Inland knowledge is a plus.
  • Industry focus: Refrigerated cargo; exposure to food, pharma, or chemicals is highly valued.
  • Skills:
  • Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
  • Resilience, proactive attitude, and ability to influence positively within the team.
  • Advanced stakeholder management and time management.
  • Education: Degree in International Business, Commerce, or related fields (flexible).
  • Language: Advanced English (mandatory).
  • Tools: Familiarity with Salesforce and MS Office Suite.
  • Travel: 1–2 trips per month (domestic; occasional international).
