Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Systems Administrator to join our IT team in Dublin, Ireland. As a Junior Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for assisting in the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems and network infrastructure. You will work closely with senior administrators and other IT staff to support our gaming operations and contribute to the overall efficiency of our IT environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of server hardware and software.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high levels of availability and security.
• Support the implementation and maintenance of network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Perform routine system and network audits, ensuring compliance with security policies and procedures.
• Provide technical support to end-users, resolving hardware and software issues in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with senior administrators on IT projects and initiatives.
• Administer and maintain Active Directory, including user account management, group policies, and security configurations.
• Support and maintain Xbox, PlayStation, and Nintendo hardware.
• Maintain documentation for IT processes and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Systems Administrator is preferred.
• Strong understanding of Windows and macOS operating systems.
• Basic knowledge of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
• Experience with server administration, virtualization, and cloud platforms is a plus.
• Experience with Active Directory administration and management.
• Familiarity with Xbox, PlayStation, and Nintendo hardware.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
