Job Summary

10:10 Games is seeking a Junior Tools Programmer with Unreal Engine knowledge to join their growing team. This role involves writing, expanding, and maintaining development tooling, build systems, and live ops under the direction of the Technical Director and Lead DevOps Programmer. The successful candidate will collaborate with other departments to improve efficiency and assist team members with troubleshooting internal tech issues, source control, and general development for upcoming projects.

Must Have

  • Write, expand, and maintain development tooling, build systems, and live ops.
  • Work closely with programmers and other departments to problem solve and improve efficiency.
  • Assist team members with troubleshooting internal tech issues, source control, and general development.
  • Experience programming in C++ within Unreal Engine.
  • Experience using Python and C#.
  • Unreal Engine Knowledge.
  • Some understanding of how game build pipelines work.
  • Able to understand existing systems, debug problems and provide creative solutions.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

About the Role

  • You will work closely with the other programmers and other departments to problem solve and improve efficiency across the team.
  • You will assist other team members with troubleshooting internal tech issues, source control, and/or general development.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience programming in C++ within Unreal Engine.
  • Experience using other languages such as Python and C#.
  • Unreal Engine Knowledge.
  • Some understanding of how game build pipelines work.
  • A problem solver able to understand existing systems, debug problems and provide creative solutions.
  • The ability to work independently, as well as with other programmers and non-technical disciplines.
  • A desire to learn, grow, and experience new areas of game development.
