Job Description

As a Junior Technical Designer at 10:10 Games, you will be responsible for the design, prototyping, and implementation of interactive gameplay elements and mechanics leveraging UE5's latest technology. You will work within the multi-skilled Technical Design team and collaborate closely with Design and Engineering to ensure systems meet specifications and utilize C++ classes, components, and functions effectively, considering best practices and performance.
Good To Have:
  • Knowledge and interest in animation & rigging with working examples.
  • Basic knowledge of Materials.
  • Experience writing documentation for tools/workflows/good working practices.
  • Interest in building props and Art assets.
Must Have:
  • Experience working with blueprint visual scripting or similar on personal or university projects.
  • Ability to design and prototype interactive gameplay mechanics and systems.
  • User-focused and regularly thinks outside the box.
  • Knowledge of basic animation principles and experience in UE5, Maya, Blender or similar.
  • Keen eye for attention to detail.

About The Role

As a Junior Technical Designer at 10:10 games, you will be responsible for the design, prototyping & implementation of interactive gameplay elements & mechanics that leverage UE5’s latest tech.

You will work as part of the multi-skilled Technical Design team made up of staff with animation, art & design backgrounds created to ensure our interactive assets not only function well from an interactive perspective but also look visually outstanding.

You will work closely with other teams such as Design & Engineering to ensure systems not only fit designs specifications, but also leverage best use of C++ classes, components & functions with consideration for best practices and performance.

What We're Looking For

  • You have experience working with blueprint visual scripting or similar on your own personal or university projects
  • You have ability to design and prototype interactive gameplay mechanics and system
  • You are the type of person that is user focussed and regularly thinks outside of the box
  • You have knowledge of basic animation principles and have some animation experience in UE5, Maya, Blender or similar
  • You have a keen eye for attention to detail
