This internship involves improving and expanding an automotive interior lighting demo using Infineon TRAVEO Body microcontroller and LITIX LED driver. Must Have
- Improve and expand an automotive interior lighting demo using Infineon TRAVEO Body and LITIX LED driver
- Create clear and comprehensive documentation for hardware and software
- Collaborate and support colleagues in the Automotive Application Engineering team
- Currently enrolled in Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems, Computer Science or similar
- Confident in C programming and familiar with embedded software development
- Structured and reliable approach to managing tasks independently
- Open-minded, eager to learn, and proactive
- Fluent in English and German, both written and spoken
Good to Have
- Initial experience with ARM-based microcontrollers

Your Role
Key responsibilities in your new role:
Join our Automotive Application Department and gain a broad overview of embedded system development in the automotive field. In this internship, you will be given your own project: building upon a functional demo developed by your predecessor that showcases rich automotive interior lighting using Infineon’s TRAVEO Body microcontroller and LITIX LED driver. Your main task will be to update this demo and develop new embedded software examples to take the project to the next level. You will also create comprehensive documentation for both hardware and software and contribute your own innovative ideas. This is your opportunity to work independently on an exciting project as part of an international and supportive team based in Langen.

Your Profile
Qualifications and skills to help you succeed:
You are best equipped for this internship if you’re enthusiastic about embedded systems, enjoy working independently, and are ready to take full ownership of a project in a real-world automotive context.
- Study field: Currently enrolled in a degree program in Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems, Computer Science or a similar field
- Skills: Confident in C programming and familiar with embedded software development
- Experience: Initial experience with ARM-based microcontrollers is a plus
- Way of working: Structured and reliable approach to managing your tasks independently
- Personality: Open-minded, eager to learn, and proactive when bringing in new ideas
- Language skills: Fluent in English and German, both written and spoken
