Job Summary

As a Staff Engineer Hardware DevOps Engineering at Infineon, you will develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, configuration management, and automated workflows for Automotive ICs, ensuring audit-proof documentation. A key focus will be leveraging agentic AI for autonomous, scalable, and intelligent systems. This role requires a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, at least 3 years of DevOps experience, proficiency in Git, Python, Bash, CMake, and tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, Docker, Artifactory, and Conan. You will collaborate with distributed teams and train engineers on CI/CD and AI automation.

Must Have

  • Develop and maintain efficient CI/CD pipelines, configuration management, and automated workflows for Automotive ICs.
  • Strategically leverage agentic AI to empower autonomous, scalable, and intelligent systems.
  • Provide toolchains and development environment for modelling, development and verification of Automotive ICs.
  • Develop configuration management to support multiple products and toolchains.
  • Build and maintain efficient, scalable, and stable CI/CD pipelines.
  • Design and implement workflow automation using agentic AI.
  • Take responsibility for audit-proof documentation generation.
  • Collaborate closely with distributed teams.
  • Train and support engineering teams on CI/CD and AI-enhanced automation.
  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in DevOps (CI/CD and configuration management).
  • Proficient with Git-based version control systems.
  • Proficient in programming languages such as Python, Bash, or CMake.
  • Hands-on experience with tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, Docker, Artifactory, and Conan.
  • Familiarity with embedded systems concepts and toolchains, AI agentic and Intelligent orchestration.
  • Fluency in English.

  • Exposure to relevant industry standards such as ISO 26262 and ISO 21434 (Cybersecurity).

Your Role

Key responsibilities in your new role

You will develop and maintain efficient CI/CD pipelines, sophisticated configuration management, and automated workflows to support the modeling and development of Automotive ICs, while ensuring audit-proof documentation. Furthermore, you will play a key role in strategically leveraging agentic AI to empower systems that are autonomous, scalable, and intelligent.

  • Provide the toolchains and development environment for the modelling, development and verification of Automotive ICs
  • Develop configuration management to support multiple products and toolchains
  • Build and maintain efficient, scalable, and stable CI/CD pipelines, ensuring a highly automated flow that meets all relevant requirements and standards
  • Design and implement workflow automation using agentic AI to optimize pipeline performance and automate decision making
  • Take responsibility for audit-proof documentation generation
  • Collaborate closely with distributed teams, including hardware/firmware developers and compliance experts
  • Train and support engineering teams on CI/CD and AI-enhanced automation

  • A Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent field of studies
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in DevOps, including CI/CD and configuration management, preferably with an embedded systems background
  • Proficient with Git-based version control systems and programming languages such as Python, Bash, or CMake
  • Hands-on experience with tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, Docker, Artifactory, and Conan
  • Familiarity with embedded systems concepts and toolchains (e.g. compilers, simulation and emulation tools), AI agentic and Intelligent orchestration
  • Exposure relevant industry standards such as ISO 26262 and ISO 21434 (Cybersecurity) is an advantage
  • Fluency in English (mandatory)
