Job Description

The Christ Fellowship Kids Coordinator supports the Campus Kids Ministry by providing leadership and care for children across all phases. This full-time, salaried position requires availability on weekends and some nights, reporting to the Christ Fellowship Kids Director. Responsibilities include volunteer team selection and equipping, ensuring weekend resource readiness, implementing growth strategies, and maintaining a safe, engaging environment for kids. The role also involves assisting with event planning, supervising midweek programs, and contributing to central team initiatives.
Must have:
  • Select and equip a volunteer team.
  • Ensure weekend resources are prepared and distributed.
  • Grow campus attendance by implementing Christ Fellowship Kids strategy.
  • Ensure overall weekend experience for kids is excellent, safe, fun, meaningful, and engaging.
  • Assist in planning and execution of events and spiritual milestones.
  • Support supervision of midweek programming.
  • Contribute to Central Team initiative development and implementation.
  • Attend weekly staff and Department meetings.
Good to have:
  • Focus in early childhood education
  • Focus in elementary education

Job Details

JOB DUTIES:

  • Selecting and equipping a volunteer team so they can thrive in their assigned roles on the Christ Fellowship Kids team.
  • Ensure weekend resources are prepared and distributed in preparation for the weekend experience.
  • Growing campus attendance by implementing our Christ Fellowship Kids strategy.
  • Ensuring the overall weekend experience for kids is done with excellence in a safe, fun, meaningful, and engaging environment.
  • Assisting in the planning and execution of events and spiritual milestones.
  • Supporting the supervision of midweek programming during the week as directed.
  • Contributing to Central Team initiative development and implementation as directed by and in cooperation with Central Kids Directors and team.
  • Attending weekly staff meetings and Department meetings as directed.

EDUCATION:

  • College graduate, or degree in progress;
  • Experienced with 1 year in a kids’ ministry environment, either as staff or volunteer.
