The Eurofins Umwelt Ost GmbH team in Freiberg is looking for a Laboratory Technician (m/f/d) for inorganic chemistry. This role involves performing environmental analysis using various measurement systems (photometric methods and BOD), evaluating and documenting results, ensuring quality, maintaining and calibrating equipment, and managing consumables. Job Description

  • As a Laboratory Employee (m/f/d) in the Inorganic Chemistry field, you will perform analysis in the environmental sector using various measurement systems (photometric methods and BOD) and analytical methods.
  • The evaluation, assessment, and documentation of test results are also part of your responsibilities.
  • You strive to achieve the highest quality and actively and continuously help to increase it further. In the event of errors, it is a matter of course for you to find the cause to systematically prevent them in the future.
  • Independent maintenance, care, and calibration of the equipment are also part of your responsibilities.
  • Furthermore, you are responsible for the administration and organization of consumable requirements and the creation and revision of test instructions.

Qualifications

  • You have completed training as a chemical laboratory technician, chemical-technical assistant (CTA), Ba.Sc. Chemistry or a similar qualification.
  • You have already gained relevant professional experience in instrumental analysis and laboratory procedures with a LIMS system (Laboratory Information Management System).
  • You also bring communication and teamwork skills, as well as analytical and a sense of responsibility.
  • Flexibility, as well as active and goal-oriented action, characterize your work.
  • You have very good German language skills, both written and spoken.
