Job Description

Lead coordinating and executing all technical activities throughout sales opportunities on Cadence Sigrity/Clarity/EMX products. This includes pre-sale activities like customer meetings, product presentations, demonstrations, and evaluations. Provide key technical support for customers during pre-sale evaluations and measurement correlation. Create simulation solutions to streamline customer workflows, support technical trainings, and workshops for chip/package/PCB SI/PI co-simulation flow build-up. Understand customer needs, foster cross-team collaboration to solve complex problems, and participate in internal initiatives to enhance solutions and key features. Mentor team members, support marketing promotions by articulating Cadence's value proposition, and develop advanced training classes and technical instructions on Cadence SI/PI/EM solutions.
Must have:
  • Experience with Sigrity, Ansys, ADS or CST tools
  • BS or MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Communication Engineering, Control Engineering, RF/MW
  • 3+ years' full-time experience in SI/PI/EMI simulation and measurement
  • Deep understanding of SI/PI/EMI/EMC principles (SerDes, DDRn, IBIS-AMI)
  • Knowledge of major package and PCB design tools (Cadence, Mentor, Altium)
  • Excellent English communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent team-worker with passion for technical excellence
  • Customer service attitude
Good to have:
  • MS in Electrical Engineering preferred
  • Familiarity with cables, harness, shielding box, connectors, TSV, Si-interposer

  • Lead coordinating and executing all technical activities throughout all the sales opportunity on Cadence Sigrity/Clarity/EMX products technical pre-sale such as customer meetings, product presentations, demonstrations and evaluations.
  • Provide key technical support for key customers for Sigrity/Clarity/EMX pre-sale evaluation and measurement correlation support
  • Create simulation solutions to streamline customer workflows in support of technical trainings and workshops for key customers’ chip/package/pcb SI/PI co-simulation flow build-up
  • Understand customer needs and create elegant and efficient cross-team working group to solve complex problems
  • Participate in internal RD/PE/AE corporate initiatives to further enhance the solution and key features
  • Participate in the development and mentoring of team members
  • Support marketing promotion by articulating Cadence value proposition
  • Develop advanced training classes and technical instructions on the usage of Cadence SI/PI/EM solution

Requirements:

  • Rich experiences in using Sigrity, Ansys, ADS or CST tools are preferred
  • BS degree or MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Communication Engineering, Control Engineering, RF/MW. MS in EE is preferred.
  • 3+ years’ full-time experience in SI/PI/EMI simulation and measurement.
  • Deep understanding the principles of SI/PI/EMI/EMC. SerDes, DDRn, IBIS-AMI
  • Know well on major package and PCB design tools including Cadence, Mentor, Altium, etc and cables, harness, shielding box, connectors, TSV, Si-interposer etc.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English for both written and verbal.
  • Excellent team-worker, strong passion and drive for personal technical excellence and high performance with self-learning/self-development capability
  • Must have customer service attitude and maintain customer focus
